So I made this "auto-farm" with belts, barriers, and switches. Cost around 60k. As you can see I made it before they updated the castle, and removed a row of grass.

My house wasn't affected
Is my house going to be updated? If so, will I get a full refund on the furniture I bought yesterday?

Well, you aren't cheating by any means. You bought everything you needed, and all you need to do is be on to hit the bomb button. That's really fricken cool, hell I might do that sometime in the future.

If ye get banned, well then gp's are a buncha bishes.

Damn that's pretty creative, I don't think you'll get a refund though. You can still farm there even if one line of grass was removed.

Wouldn't it be impossible to tell if a robot is doing the action (like third party programs that does things for you?).

doesn't matter because you get an "are you there" message which pops up randomly somewhere on the screen.
A bot could do it even without the autofarm, its just extra work.

Thanks, sorry it wasn't 1 row per se. 20 grass tiles were removed in no particular order. So it went from 60 --> 40 grass tiles, which is basically a guild house farm equivalent, except that you have to do twice the work, and spend twice on bombs when compared to the guild house farm with a spar arena.

I just hope that the people who still have the original castle aren't forced to update their house, especially when I just bought the mechanisms. Really wasn't expecting them to nerf it, as it didn't seem to need one. You could still make more with a guild house vs original castle. Only preferred castle, because it was pretty much made for 2p mounts.

i doubt admins will ban you but if you're repeatedly pressing the bomb and nothing more for an hour or less even they might mistake you for a macro and ban you

i doubt they'd ban you otherwise tho. thats one of the coolest things i've ever heard of. the image wasn't working for me, so idk what it looks like lol.

if you get banned tho, you can always appeal it and by the time they decide to review it, you'll be unbanned.

GPs do some pretty ******ed things but that's something that Dusty or higher would need to decide to do, and they aren't idiots

dusty and coco aren't idiots but thats 2 people in comparison to a GP staff that is notorious for doing ******ed crap. not saying all GPs besides coco and dusty is/are ******ed, but chances are he could get banned if the admins noticed he was doing the same exact actions at the same exact time for an extended period of time.

the admins can notice if a macro sword spams for 30 minutes straight, so i'm sure they wouldn't bother to check on him in this case.

I used one of these for a while, I stopped at a full black farm because they changed how conveyor belts worked a bit. I'll be remaking it using those barriers now that I know it works.

Just checked and I think you keep your old castle outside if you still had it before the nerf

I made one of these in my guild house right when the conveyors came out. Pretty neat stuff. Yes they're allowed. You don't need to worry about getting any punishments for macros or whatever unless you actually ARE using a macro. We have a number of methods we use to test if the player is actually being operated by a person or not.

I sorta felt guilty... like this was too good... using ~30 conveyor belts and 2 switches in swamp house layout... make an H shape... haven't designed it in the new layouts yet, but they seem like they're balanced for it. Now at least :P

Well first, from the looks of it, you will need 48 fireworks.

This setup doesn't really work anymore since the conveyors were changed a lil, you'll need to get some barriers for it to work

^This. I tore it down a few days ago and sold everything without knowing about the fix. I'm in the middle of buying everything back to set it up again.

I don't really know how exactly to explain it, but conveyor belts used to push you into the middle of each other like in this image.
Now they only push you half the distance. Here's a GIF of what I mean.
I don't know why they changed how they worked because they were perfectly fine. You could possibly fix the design I used by offsetting them and the switches but oh well I already sold everything so I can't test it. Using barriers is probably the way to go now.

Guys... Conveyor belts move bombs, too.

This is awesome can someone make a tutorial on how to do it? Still pretty confused by the mechanics.

All you have to do is copy exactly the way it looks... o.O
just remember they're belts overlapping towards the middle, the differ colors allow you to pass at separate times depending on which color is active. Very self explanatory.

How much does it cost in total?

I built this not too long ago. It's roughly 60k. It's a heavy investment that I wouldn't suggest to a player who is not farming-focused.

you spent more gralats on that that you r prob gonna get farming from it

That depends on how dedicated a person can be to farming. I think this was an amazing investment and long-term will come in handy. But people have different opinions.

as Heeble said, it was upwards of 60k. I had 20k at the time started and ended up selling around 45k worth of furniture collected since 2009.

Just farming for a few hours gets you all gold and with this farm that is already 6k. I would say maybe 2-4hrs (lets just say 4 hours, to get an idea of the longest it would take). So, that would take a maximum of about 40 hrs to make that money back. Now obviously no one farms for 40hrs straight, so just divide that up by how often you play/farm. If you play/farm for 5hrs a day then thats just 8 days to make that back. Doesn't sound like such a waste now does it? Besides, you get the added bonus of your house looking fancy xD

Edit: add in another 20-40 mins for the daily bounty and you could decrease the total time a lot.

That sounds like a great investment, I mean I probably won't play 5hrs a day, probably like less than an hour. But, that still gives us like a month a half to start making profit.

Plus, the castle quest would double that. Lol so much greed.

That doesn't actually seem like a bad idea. Maybe I'll have to try it.

The reason people prefer to use mounts+bombs is because swordfarming requires you to click a million times per hour
So I don't see how you could keep that up for like 3 hours unless you macro which isn't allowed

i used my left hand to hit on ipod while making a shield with my right on the pc for a few hours. Wasn't that hard xD

With my laptop i can split the screen and watch youtube on one half and farm on graal on the other. Big thanks to inco for helping me out on making that machine.
