I don't know if anyone else noticed or has answers to this. But it seems the tables next to Delta Islands Battle Arena have been replaced with this rather interesting object. What is it though?

a health bar thing with a pillar on the bottom of it.

Clearly, but why is it there? What is its importance?

It's been spotted in multiple locations. Maybe a health refill spot or used to warp to locations?

Yeah I've spotted a couple. In York, Delta, and at the Stables.

It's also in Snow Town, Deadwood, Swamp, Destiny, and Mod Town

So far I found a total of 10.

WarpRing? or Some kind of landmark -to battle for the spot maybe? possibly link in with new guild system... Or could be one of them hope for the server things again.

Deadwood ( below the tower)
Swamp ( bottom left off swamp by tables)
Snow ( below where the old snow tower use to be)
Onnet (beside the onnet Forst)
Mod ( left side off mod next to the axe people)

Graal city / Balamb / Big City / Angel clan don't have

Also stables has 1

These are in areas that have been gone, like Club Crypt or the Showdown Tower.. Maybe that's a clue?

Onnet Forest, MoD, York, Snow town, Delta, Stables, Swamp, Destiny, and Deadwood. Those are all the locations od the ones I have spotted.

Any theories as to what this is? (All I hear is 'teleporting' or 'warping', so try something else unless if it's all you can think of..)

Dusty talked about teleportcrystals and these might be the pedestals where you'd put said teleport crystals or perhaps activate them (since there's already something in there)

What if it's a warping station (I know. Cliche, right?) that requires you to pay in health to use it. Like if it drained 2.5 health bars to use it, then you would need full health, thus delaying the next time you are able to use it until you regenerate your health.

It has a very similar appearance to the warp points found on Graal the Adventure:

if I had to take my best guess, I'd say they're warp points that'll be made functional by something sold or obtained at the new Castle

probably has something to do with the red crystal item here as it does look like something that would fit on the warp points

... Dungeon furniture?

Who knows, that red crystal could be furniture to be put in your house to teleport to the warp points around the map.
I personally doubt the warp locations have anything to do with the castle furniture though

You're probably right about it being connected in some way to castle because I think we're too close to the castle update for this to just be an isolated piece of content. It must be connected somehow, I'd guess through a new quest.

Looks a lot like the warp ring pedastools on the PC version of Classic that Thor is refusing to update because of some futile boycott thing he's got going.

No one has confirmed that they're even furniture.

If I remember right, Dusty demonstrated that crystal in a gif post a few years ago; and it functioned as an on/off switch, similar to the ones in Zelda dungeons.

most of the stuff from Dusty's screenshot do look like furniture pieces, but based on locations alone I still think these pillars are probably some type of warp point

only other guess is that they're involved in some new quest

They look like furniture and people have claimed that Dusty has tested them in his house, so all current evidence is pointing towards the direction of them being furniture

Edit: The url Twilit posted is almost a confirmation that it will be furniture lol

Heres something you never thought of: Respawn points? It makes sense since Graal City isn't a PK zone, and everywhere there is one is a PK zone. It'd give you your "Respawn in the nearest building upon death", and your "PK mob repellent"

Wow, that's an interesting thought. It would make sense since the altars all have the red and white yin-yang on them, which we associate with health on Graal. I remember there's been some discussion about respawn points in the past, I believe as a possible counter to riots. They would certainly be an interesting addition.

However, I still think they will be warp points simply because of the screenshot posted earlier in the thread from the other server.
