Well this time it had a huge announcement and trailer.

That is what I thought as well. They never posted a trailer for it till now.

Yeah and also the stuff in the trailer shows chunks of plot from the manga continuation, seems likely that this is happening

Watched the first episode of season 2 and I must say, it was a really good first episode to get you to pick up on where the story left off.

Straight into the action aswell which was nice in my opinion

I dont really feel like it is a season 2. It really is playing out well with the first season.

Can't wait for the other 11 eps

Just watched episode 2 of season 2.
Pretty boring episode in my opinion, it wasn't bad but it did just feel like side-story filler to me
I hope episode 3 will be more action packed

Not trying to spoil anything but the **** that will come after this season is going to be nuts.

Its a shame that we probably will have to wait another decade or so to see it.

Definitely similar to a filler, barely pushed the story along but I enjoyed it for the character development. Attack on Titan isn't known for having back to back slow episodes, so next episode I assume will be action packed.

Let's hope it has action. Also, don't use the word filler so loosely. Just because there's no action in an episode doesn't mean the story isn't progressing. A filler doesn't progress the story at all.

Fillish isn't to me as the same as filler. after all this season is only 12 ep so they are going to try and crame a lot of things in one ep.

AHHH FCK LAST EPISODE WAS FIRE

I watched the first 2-3 episodes and didn't enjoy it. Somehow I'm just not as intrigued as when I watched the first season

The first episodes were rather boring, yea. But the last two ones were actually pretty good. AOT is the only anime I watch besides two others but its kinda sad to see the studios creating AOT is running on a very low budget. =/

That is what happens when you screw over the artist because they want to keep more money for themselves.

It is sad. We were going into the era of great anime and now it is slowly going down.

Strongly disagree. Attack on Titan was hype as hell. I personally can't remember seeing anything with such compelling and unexpected twists and turns. Every time I thought I knew how things were headed, it got flip-turned upside down. I only heard about it like two months ago, and I watched every episode of season 1 multiple times in both dub and sub, and read through the manga. I haven't watched any anime since the original non Shippuden Naruto, but Attack on Titan was too good not to see the whole product. It even got me back to trying different manga, I've only been keeping up with One Piece chapters. Now I just finished Claymore and started on The Seven Deadly Sins, with multiple other interesting manga on backlog. How such great storytelling and artwork can be called mediocre makes me a bit sad.

Episode 34 should be called "tree" cus that's all it is :I

People don't seem to realize what makes an anime (or any long running series) great, memorable, and unique. You can't just have awesome fights and call it a day, you'll make fans lose interest. You gotta add foreshadowing, plot setups, world-buiding, and more to make the story more compelling. You can't just throw a long running series in the trash because of a "slow" episode lmao.

That's ultimately why I kept watching TWD after a slow paced season. You should embrace the non action packed episodes and take in the information they're giving to you.
