The Current State Of Bugs.
 

A year ago there was a major nerf in the way bugs spawned and reacted. This was due to a bug (Pun Intended) in the sytstem where bugs would spawn rapidly and there were other issues and it needed a fix. But what happened was that instead of a fix they just practicly threw it out. (I know christmas removes the bugs im talking pre christmas) They rarely ever spawn, What were common bugs instead became a fairly rare thing to see. On top of that the odds of you being in range/having your net out/ having a change to get it were very low. And lets take the lady bug for instance, You missed a swing back then? So what it flies away a little distance. Nowdays it litteraly SHOOTS OFFSCREEN. And lets say you somehow manage to catch that bug. The prices you get are terrible for the amount of time needed, Theres no chsnce of getting anywhere near good prices for bugs nowdays. "BUT GALEN!" you might be thinking "THEYRE MEANT FOR DISPLAY NOW!" and yes the display box was added but a part of me doughts the nerf ruined bugs for that, And also you have to pay 2.5k to display a 20 gralat bug. Now this whole system is downright, broken, thrown together, and RUINED. Yes it needed balancing but it didnt need to be completely ruined. Other Graalians and I are fed up and we need a change, I know you are completely swamped with everything but I think me and majority of the people I know agree when i say we NEED a new system, We need change. Im not going to start a riot on Graal but i will encourage people to support this change and to in a civil manner work toward a change to make something that was a big part of Graal working again. I usually never see bugs so I guess it's bad(?) I could care less for it tho since it's pointless after all my rare butterflies vanished from my GH few years ago!

Spawn rates are little to none year round.

They can't spawn a lot of them, because I think they said it was bad for the server.

It really helps if you have a large screen.

They might aswell of removed them.

Why? It's just something extra you can do for a little bit of money now.

I had no issues switching to a net when a bug appeared on my screen and most of the times I caught it aswell

In my opinion the system was better before, and I really enjoyed it before. I do understand however that they had to change it because the spawn rates kept messing up I just wish it could go back to the way it was before the monsoon season event and have all the bugs back

Most people are going to hate them because they can't catch tons of ladybugs and mantises.

Its nice to be able to catch a few atleast \('-')/ I rarely see butterflys. Theyre like sonic they see that net then they use nitro.

The part I hate is that the witch hasn't asked for mantis (and a select few other bugs) in months. Please put it on a cycle instead of this random nonsense where she asks for the same three bugs every week.

The ENTIRE system is broken.

Well I caught a good number of bugs post-monsoon. I just haven't had a chance to sell about 3-400 of them because the witch has yet to ask for em. It's kind of annoying with christmas coming.

A pre set bug calendar for each month seems like the best choice. I mean why make it random? Preset days seem easier then some mysterious rng. It's still a viable activity for profits, just don't expect to become millionaires from bees or mantises lol

When even travis disagrees with the staff you know you messed up.

I came up with an idea of converting jars to furniture in case they didn't fix this issue.

Bring back prices!!1!1 at least half of the original price

Increase spawns decrease speeds. Minor price buff.

I broke down and sold my mantises (she hasn't asked for them in months). I got almost 8k for under 200 mantises. Worth it.
