Account Question - Can anyone help?
 
Hello,

My name is ThreeChains and I'm new to the forums. I recently decided to get back into Graal Classic (hooray) after multiple years of absence. I played from about 2009 to 2013 and want to come back. Problem is, the email I use to identify my character was deactivated by aol since I never used it (it was basically only used for graal). I was on the phone with aol support for 90 minutes and they were unable to reactivate my account. I can't use my email to identify because I can't go into it and verify. I need to change the email associated with my account or something. My question is, what do I do to get this issue resolved? I've been messaging Graal PD with no response, and emailed the support email without getting any response. If anyone knows someone who can help/ can help, reply here and we can sort it out in PMs. I wouldn't have brought this to these forums if I knew any other way. To lose this account would be to lose over 1000 playing hours and hundreds of real dollars spent towards in-app purchases. I really didn't want to bother you all, but I see no other option left after trying everything Graal Classic tells me to do. They just don't seem to respond to support tickets (no offense, they do great work). This is a long shot, but if anyone has had this happen to them or knows someone who can resolve, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Hopefully, this wasn't too annoying, and I'm sorry I had to bother.

That is a really sucky situation but unfortunately with out access to your email I don't think they will change it for you , for security reasons. Someone could have probably done it for you like 3 years ago when support used to be less strict but now a days I don't see it happening sorry :/

What if I have proof of being in my email? I am still logged into it on my old iPod, just can't refresh/get new emails since it has been deleted.

Graal PD deals with in game issues such as harrassment and cheating etc
Due to the a security hack, they are back to using the emailsystem. Which is probably why jobs are done without replies.

First off thats what the Forums are made for, I think all you can do is try to get your GRAAL ID back from maybe a picture and hope that classic admins will actually do something.

I'd send them an email with a few orders (gralats) and your player ID, explain them everything and hope

Guys, you have been so helpful so far. Really. You guys have given me more information in ten minutes than I could find in the last couple wees. Anyone know how to contact an admin specifically rather than using the email system? I mean, I think given my case, they would at least consider it. I've spent hundred of dollars and the game and can probably pull together purchase history from my iTunes account.

Edit: Probably not gonna be able to find that ID. Hopefully the email is good enough. I can't even remember my Nickname since I used to change it every week. Thanks.

If you have acesss to your emails then maybe you can provide support with some gralats purchase receipts from iTunes and such for the acckunt , maybe that will do it, also some emails enable you to redirect any emails received onto a secondary email, maybe if you could set that up with that email then the authorisation email for the account could be forwarded to another email directly( this is just a theory I've never had to deal with a similar situation my self )

The last two emails on my iPod on that deleted account are graal identification requests from 2013! This HAS to be good enough. The emails come straight from them. That device that I was trying to identify was reset, but the emails are good proof. Thing is... what's the point of sending them proof if they won't reply? DO you guys have any recommendations on who to contact? I know I sound desperate, but try to relate - losing this account with over 1000 hrs would make 1000 hours of my life wasted. And also a couple hundred bucks. Thanks guys.

EDIT: Not sure the redirect thing would work, but good idea. The email is deleted so it's not like things are being sent to it. Everything sent to that email bounces back.

Switched internet providers from Windstream to Comcast and had my email disabled because of it (the old internet provider also happened to be our email provider), made a new email through Gmail, somehow was lucky enough to get my account transferred to the new email, but I forget how.

This was back in 2014 though.

My advice would be to pm an admin on the forums itself and wait for a reply , on graal you will most likely get told to just use the support email but that sometimes doesn't work. Gonna be honest with you the chances of you getting your account back are slim. Your best just making a new , secure account with an Email from Google or something that you'll be able to access whenever and just start from scratch. But like I said pm an admin or two and see what advice they have , they probably know more than us

To anyone viewing: If you know someone to contact please help. I think using my proof I can get my account transferred, but there is no one to contact about it. Try to relate, over 1000 hrs and a lot of money is at stake for me. :X

You may be able to get an email transfer due to the circumstances. The problem is it will be a very long process.

I figured, but does anyone know how to initiate that process? I'm ready to do it... but where? Is there staff I can talk to on the forums?

Open a toonslab ticket, and explain that there is no possibility of you accessing your email. They would probably need some form of proof that you are the account holder though. Like I said earlier, this is a very long process and wont happen immediately. Toonslab themselves will take a while to respond, wait a few weeks/months.

The staff you'll be able to contact in-game or on the forums aren't able to help with an issue like losing access to an account.

Thank you so much for your help Jarace, and everyone else. I submitted a ticket + an email explaining everything with evidence since it couldn't fit in the ticket box.

I told them my situation, provided screenshots of an old email from graal still on my iPod, and screenshots of some of my gralat purchases.

I feel like if this doesn't work, nothing will. I really wish they had a better and more responsive system for support given how popular the game is. The system they have just seems so dated for modern times.

Nonetheless, my ticket is in, and no doubt, it'll probably take at least a week before I get a reply. I'll supply an update when there is one, and again, thank you guys for giving me the best shot at giving my account back.

Hopefully, I'll see you all on the server soon!

This is how I feel at times with the graphics submissions. However, given the popularity and the average target audience for this game, they probably have a lot of nonsense to filter through in order to get to legitimate issues. That said, hiring some additional staff could go a long way for the company's PR... but they would need to notice more than just a few people complaining on the (unofficial) forum to have that ever become a reality.

It even took me 1 and a half year to get my upload ban (which is just a minor thing and ez to handle) , but i wish u goodluck in getting ur acc back :) idk if toonslab replies but sometimes they do if you put in , alot of direct info about the issue.

I emailed the support email from the new email I made that I wanted it transferred to, explaining the situation and providing borh my old email address and my Graal ID. It was transferred shortly after.

According to snk, you can have an account transfer if your email was deactivated. Talk to Xor, or whoever is manager now.

I don't even know how any ordinary Graalian cann get in contact with Xor, maybe through fp4 or Dusty?

Do this as well as submitting a ticket , xor won't reply to your email but if it's clear and concise he may deal with it himself. I had ban issues in the past and wanted to merge my old accounts back in 2013 and he did that for me without even replying , I just logged on and it was done. Ill pm u his email address

He doesn't reply to emails anymore. He only allows emails from @graalonline.com now.

Woah guys. I am blown away. My issue was... resolved! That was insanely prompt. I have to give the support team a lot of props on this one. I can't speak for anyone else, but the service was fantastic. See you on the servers.
