My guess is that it's some sort of shop/area relating to the main theme of the event since they did remove Club Crypt.. If they were going to plan a dungeon/quest, I think it would've been done in the past 2-3 Halloween events that we've had but who knows? Classic does like to surprise us. Could be either, or nothing lol. Seems like whatever it is, is slowly cracking open as Halloween week approaches.

the dusty farting thing might have some merit cause now a stream of green gas is spewing out of there

It's going to be a dungeon entrance + shop. To get to the shop, you have to battle 3 giant pumpkin blobs, 3 giant zombies, 6 zombies, 4 spider crabs, and 3 lizardons at the same time. If you die, it drops 5 candies from your inventory and you get warped to the front of the entrance where you have to redo the whole thing again.

Instead of staring at it, lets bomb it people e.e

I've completed the quest ! The prize is nice

I highly recommend turning up your music and sounds when entering deadwood.
sadly the music doesn't work for flash, however...but sounds still do!
