Opinions on the new Zone tileset?

It's badass, but the floor tiles do hurt my eyes... Way too many bold, tiny tiles.

PC Zone tiles, although even they would be great for ios zone-just updating floortiles so not as eyecatching.(Unsure why they used skyworld over it)

The tileset that Dragun posted isn't bad lmao, I agree with PigParty on the floor being too bold tho.

I like smoothe and bright gfx style, that's one thing I always liked about graal (mainly classic and era though)

Don't get me wrong, it is nice. But if Dragun's post really is the tileset, we've been waiting for a year for that? If they're paying professional artists to make that, then they should either reconsider who they're paying, or Graal graphics teams should reconsider who they're working for.

Whatever that tileset is for/from, it's a hell of a lot better than Zone's current tileset, and it has the theme that iZone should have started out with.

Everyone in this thread has done more for zone than chelt has done since he's been a temp manager doesn't that say alot. GJ gunderak for actually doing bits he can to keep things slowly running.

It evidently takes a special kind of leveler to be able to make Shangri La visually appealing

I have friends from classic who I tried to get to come to zone but they refused because zone's tileset actually hurt their eyes.

Stated in July, now it's October. (2 months and counting).

We already started using it. The tiles we use are done, we only add smaller tiles now and then. And right now the artist is working on images

Hardly an update to the players.. that's like saying in 2012 delteria is coming to ios. oops :giggle:

On side note though, can someone please just show us where we're at for the tileset. Even though it's not complete we'd still like to see the progress to know that this time it's actually being delivered and not just some bs.

delteria IOS will come out before this new tileset is released, along with chelt updating us.

the only thing chelt has me thinking, because he hasn't updated us, is there is nothing to be updated on. Meaning they have no new tileset, just another joke.

erm.. this thread didn't turn out as I intended. It was supposed to be a joke that tricked people to immediately log on to zone and check out the new tileset that doesn't actually exist, hence the April fools reference. Instead, they took it as a direct insult towards the tileset development, which I probably would have done anyway on one of the many other threads.
