It's that time of the month(In a few weeks). So who is gonna win gst?

Prediction:
Mixed
1. Holy
2. Entity
3. SLX
Idevice
1. VIS
2. Rebellious
3. GRAAL GIRLS ROYALTY AND FAMILY

Blackout beats Holy for the gold.

CD losses to alumni in the iDev final

not doing it, I'm not one of these people who say they aren't going to do it for 3 months then end up doing it
I'll do it again whenever the format changes or whenever the new guild thing launches

Not gonna participate this time around. Dante isn't either. If he manages to throw together a good Cherry team then they have a shot but I'll predict Holy wins it on the mixed side, followed by Cherry then no idea who comes in 3rd. Maybe Demon.

idev is and always has been kind of hard to predict but I'll say Silver again, they always stick together and have been practicing GSing more than any other idev team at belle. That's if Alumni members like Abood, Shaheen, Alexx, Pkun, Sugar don't stick together. I think Sarahs pretty much MIA from graal since 100k so I don't think she'll be around. Bello is also pretty good and underrated, as long as Surge doesn't basically d/c like he did last tourney. This side is basically impossible to predict until teams start forming.

if cherry isn't trolling around and have dante mk and few decent gsers. i can see them owning gst.

Alumni didn't do it because we couldn't even get 7 people... Dante, David, mk, and I think even Shannon couldn't be on. I openly said I would do the GST with eko in Deity. I'm just not doing it now. The GST isn't very interesting to me anymore, but if something new happened I'd probably play again.

It doesn't help that every other GST hat seems to get re-released and sold as an improved version months later. I'll do it with my new guild when we convert to a points system or when the GST exists as a single tournament.

Oh a single player tournament would be really cool to watch

Is Dante or someone making a team in Cherry? Cuz if they are, i'd change the predictions right now

It starts at 2 AM my time. Every time. I have notably few GST items to show for my constant winning. (How about a gst store outside the arena so those of us not in america land can grab some of those sweet ganis?)

once again will not be available for it and i think that might be the weekend that i'm moving back into college, so probably won't even see who wins.

would be cool to organize a sage team to win it while i'm offline but i'm too lazy and don't think i'd be able to get everyone to agree to it. noss, shiden, roxas, lia, and kouji as a core would be dominant, subs don't matter, but unfortunately it isn't gonna happen. good luck to all of them though, i'd like to see noss finally win his first belt but i don't think bello is that good.

mobile will be taken by whatever the rebellious or vis teams are this time, hopefully not silver.

I believe that's when you join Rebellious and gave them the loss. Didn't they win without you the season before? Always some magical fairytale circumstance about what would happen if you threw together a team or joined a team, etc, etc. It's called a prediction thread not an imaginary "what would happen if I potentially made a team" thread.

BACK ON TOPIC! Mixed will be more interesting this time around since a lot of good players are looking for teams to join and scrambling to kind of get a cohesive guild together. Holy has always been strong but I'd say it's 50/50 if someone plays it smart and recs the right people.

2nd the cherry guild if it's actually a thing
3rd depends on the brackets

Idev predictions :
1st/2nd - silver/alumni
3rd depends who gets brackets lined up to only face the top two at semis

SLX is back now, Demrow has returned and now we have one goal in mind...and that is to win the mixed GST. So this is an official warning to all of the Graal mixed GST Teams we're coming for the gold!!!


Mixed Predictions:

1) SLX
2) Holy/Entity
3) Bello

2nd place and 3rd place depends on brackets. I reckon if Bello only do mixed so they can stack their mixed up they can do good. I think Entity will beat Holy. But of course neither of these 3 teams have a chance against SLX.

iDevice:

1) VIS if Fro plays the right team.
2) Alumni
3) Silver

But I could see Silver surprise everyone and go for the gold again. I've gs'd with them and they've been doing good.


My predictions are not my final predictions they will be changed throughout because I reckon I might be moving Silver up to #1 or #2 in my predictions if they continue doing as consistent as I've seen them currently.

2nd: Bello( they have scarchaos they defo gonna place)
3rd: Entity ( they r so much better then holy they will rek em + they have John and primetime the best pc players to ever touch graal)

1st: VIS
2nd: Alumni
3rd: Pythagoreans (they have the god Rexx so)

1st:SLX
2nd:Jin Dynasty
3rd:Entity

I personally think Holy will be stuck with a pretty tough bracket which is something they aren't accustomed to. I have a feeling they're going to get entity early. Holy lacks practice and teamwork like entity has. Jin Dynasty might come In and shock some people so don't sleep on them either. But SLX by far has the most history together and I think now that Alumni is gone they have a chance.

I'm simply hoping I see new names in the idev field. I think it will overall be a fun gst and really depends on the brackets.

From what I've heard Bello and entity have been beating Holy

Being a Bello member and having practiced with their GST team i can confirm they are very weak, are bad for long stretches, have a few good spars and proclaim themselves the chosen ones to win. Holy all good single sparrers, if can work together have a good shot at it. Entity is due they beat Holy at Belle. SLX is prime.

hey bro, I never even asked to be on the team, and every time he even asked me to practice I always said I was busy or just didn't answer. Why would I join and commit to a team where I don't think everybody else is good enough? Especially when I might not have even shown up at all....lol

Dude I saw a team of Scarchaos,Tenchu,Tony,Faded and I think it was Ravster beat u,Brett,Sean,zid and pip I'm sure. U was playing 2 defensive kuz was also there he can confirm this. Also Entity went 5-1 against u I'm sure lol u guys need to practice man.

The only time sean, zid, brett, and I have faced entity was in the actual tourney. If you are referring to this video, then yeah it happened.

From what I'm hearing on this thread and in game is that both Entity and Bello have conclusively beaten Holy at Belle which makes the overall tournement pretty interesting especially on the mixed side. With the top teams being able to beat each other on any given day. Demon also has a pretty solid team from what Tucker tells me, but the fact he keeps changing it and they have practised together is slightly worrying. Also with an experienced team like SLX making their return this GST everything is pretty much in the air.

I think Alumni are favourites but if VIS can come up with a solid game plan and follow through with it then i can see them winning. I think most teams will find it pretty awkward to spar against Pythagoreans and Silver also. A lot depends on the brackets though.

I don't even think Holy core has practiced? Maybe you are mixing up the other people on Holy tag practicing... Or maybe they practiced and I'm unaware of that. At most as of recently I have seen only 2 core people practicing together at a time, the rest are just other members. Doesn't matter either way
