Shop names
Is it really necessary to name shops with the actual player who made? I am not against it. Just asking. I already saw some people who named the shop with their name and when I read the description of hat it has still their name. Like whaaat? I admire people who made it but, yeah.

Can you give a reason why they shouldn't be named like they are?

Shop names
I personally dislike a server that has staff statues, personal shops and the staff names everywhere. Like I despise it. It seems so unprofessional. Great you made a hat, but that doesn't entitle you to a hat shop. You don't have people like the ZPs have shops with "their" stuff. Yet they also contribute to the server. Or let's say levels team. They probably build your shop, but in the end it will still be your shop. Working on a server means contributing for it. There is no reason for endless prestigious staff statues all over the place. I once counted 24 staff statues in a range of 5 levels (not naming the server obviously). You contribute all your work for the server like everyone else. As a staff member you gain privileges and I personally don't think statues and shops need to be one of them

I don't care on PC servers but iOS servers should be more professional. @Chelt might wanna rename some hat shops on Zone then :)

I already took care of that. But rename won't be necessary. It will do itself some day ;) |

We get it, all Graal servers suck ass in your opinion. Now shut up about it and find something else to complain about. |

It depends on the pc server. If it was UN i wouldnt care either way. Or if it was zodiac i wouldnt mind; however, if it was maloria, i would be against naming the buildings being named after players since it has more of an rpg feel to it which transcends graal. |
I don't want 90% of zones buildings to be ego based shops made for admins.

Yet you have to see it this way. Something on graal is normally created by a whole team. The level was made by the lats, the things sold were made by the gfx artists, ganied by the Gani Team, scripted by the developers and scripters. Even the background music has been made by someone. The whole client was scripted by someone else. So where do we stop this? How do we decide whom to honor. We can't place 200 staff statues in every level or name 200 shops after a staff team. The team consists over years. People come and go. And for example, where is the Support in all of this, no matter if they are called GM, ZP, PR, GP, etc. People also raised the question to pay people about the work they've done. But how does on judge the worthiness of a level in money. Or of a script. Or of a Gani. Some people invest more time, while others do a quick but messy result, just to get the bonus. |

i always disliked this too, the shops end up dead either way
id rather come up with a fictional person and name if after that like Baba Yaga's Apothecary (alchemy) Warren Linen (tailor) and so on was never a fan of fame-oriented things... it gives players the wrong impression of having responsability over something, thinking they could just make a hatshop if they become admin or w/e |
Croc shop lol.Personally not keen on naming after themselves although It's okay if its a few not like taking over the server with lots of them, I think if the person has made everything i.e the level/s, hats/items etc then why shouldn't they be allowed it called that.. The only thing I dislike about it is when staff leave or just go and make there own shop then leave within a week or something then it should be renamed.

Btway I also hate when some lats (if they ever put the hats on the shop) the same hats as recolored I mean, like in a one LARGE table it is all the same hats (just recolored). I mean just copy the style of classic shops. It won't affect the themed server.
