Just a heads up to development staff since I know most don't actively play or participate in activities, these two are about to hit the biggest stat milestones achievable. I think it's safe to assume we won't see 8 digits in kills or 7 digits in spars.

At the rate they're sparring and PKing, it should be around a month. Staff should probably do something special for both of them!

I think that they should get a special furniture item, a precursor to the achievement system. Maybe a little teaser of some sort, even if the system will not come out soon.

they should get statues and the statues should be placed somewhere sunny so they finally get some vitamin d xd

Something like that. Classic has a tradition of making note of the first to achieve things (Battle Arena library, MoD guild library), so I think it'd be pretty cool.

Some type of golden trophy-esque furniture in the shape of the numbers 1,000,000 and 100,000 might be nice? Or, there's that Facebook 200k Likes hat. That could be remade for each and have some type of symbolism to PKing and sparring.

A joke, but it's worth mentioning anyway that Anyu has less than 3k hours. 334 PKs an hour over the lifetime of an account is pretty nuts.

Once the game reaches a certain popularity, it becomes complicated doing those gestures to the player base and giving out unplanned rewards or congratulating players who achieved a certain goal, as there is no end to those goals. The library with the top all time players in every category seems good enough.

I don't think it's a major inconvenience for staff to coming up with something for two players who have dedicated thousands of hours towards being the first to achieve these goals!

Sparring and PKing is the backbone of Classic's actual gameplay, and I'm sure something will be done to acknowledge it. I just wanted to make a thread to put it out there and bring attention to it.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing them rewarded in some way, but I feel like if they are gonna be rewarded somehow, it needs to be something that won't become like the 1K hat system that seemed unique back then, and became awkward today. since the library with players achievements will have their name, I don't think a statue or a new update about it is good, but perhaps something like a trophy or a hat for every player who will reach numbers that are clearly gonna take a couple of years, like the 100k spars and 1mil pks. graal needs to be more clear with it's rewards, while it's fine having random events and unannounced rewards, this doesn't work for games that become as big as graal is now.

Statues outside of battle arena that are gold and a hat that represents their achievement, There is no way you can ignore this sort of achievement it is a milestone no one else has accomplished/will not accomplish for a long time especially the 100k spars part.

What makes you think no ones gonna accomplish that in a long time? Not gonna say they shouldnt be rewarded but its not like its not gonna happen with multiple players. A hat cool, a gold statue uhm.. where and why a gold statue. A house furniture or trophy would be cool but a bloody gold statue for everyone to see isnt that a bit much, it would be a huge step up from everyone elses reward for spars or PKs for sure.

Once they get the furniture item, their stats should be reset.

Kevin, Comyt, and Vlad very rarely spar anymore. That leaves Prime and I next, both of whom only have 43k... That's less than half of what Sarah has.
By that math, I don't see anyone even coming even close to Sarah for at least 6 years unless one of those three gets very active or Shan comes back.

Xenthic and Andrew don't play. That leaves Michael at 694k. He could probably get 1m in 2 years if he tried or cared.

It's pretty clear by those numbers that this isn't something that's expected to happen often... And even if it was, I think these two deserve something for being the first and doing it so quickly. Sarah started in 2012 and was a PKer for months before she started sparring. Anyu started when, 2014?

Besides that point, a gold statue? Im all for them getting a prize and all but if its gonna be a gold statue it should be for their houses and nothing too crazy. A hat, a trophy, a gralat prize, a mount, an gani, furniture (gold statue etc.) are all reasonable prizes but what red was asking for isnt it a bit too much to have gold statues out? If a prize like that is what they deserve give them a sign or a book in the library.
Idk anyu bery much since I'm not really involved in the PK'ing society unless I bored, but there are others close to her achievement, although I have no names theyre out there and still pking non stop. Kevin and others may have stopped unless they really wanted to go all out but Anyu is a different case is she not?

Instead of resetting their stats maybe put stats on the furniture altogether. Guess that could be something for future changes. Entirely different topic there lol

So you want to reset my stats that I've been trying to get actively for nearly 3 years?? I'd rather keep my stats than a meaningless furniture prize. What if someone wants to go paste 100k wins or 1m pks?

I dont mind you getting a prize at all, its a game, infact congrats on almost reaching your milestone but in my opinion a gold statue is a bit much unless its for your house that is, not saying it wont be done just saying Im not on terms on it.

You seem so mad about getting a "golden statue" that isn't yours when recurvez got a statue in era for hitting 100k I think, not saying I want a reward lol I've always sparred for nothing. Anyu got some crazy amount of pks for like a month or something and it was consistent I don't think anyone can get the pks as fast as she did, she also got the highest amount of pks in a week.

You sound like you want the gold statue not that theres anything wrong with that also era and classic are completely different, no offence but I dont compare era to classic.

Also I'm not saying Anyu doesnt deserve anything, nor did I say that about you last time I checked I wrote something completely different. I wrote that people will probably catch up to Anyu afterwards in the future since they are also not that far (theyre not as close as she is though which is cool) compared to sparrers catchig up to you.

In terms of skill though, Lady poot, Anyu and Sarah.
Its quite interesting to see that most of the top players in terms of skill are female when normally most people see others like Thallen, Primetime, Michael and Jeffy as the top in terms of skill in their field

Its true, but theres not really a problem with it, I've actually wanted to see females do this for a while since back then people idolized mostly male sparrers atleast from what I've seen.

i think he was just unmotivated and felt pointless + tired after reaching #1 and he kinda stayed in that position for like 2 years.
don't remember him getting banned until late 2014. but i could be wrong.

same with shan. he just got unmotivated, felt tired, pointless after being #1.
then he started to get banned and do stuff like trying to cover his profile with all black.

Actually they did have spar hats and a pk reward room(even that they wasn't exactly big accomplishments compare to how many already had it at the time.) Point of posts was that they didn't give a sh1t about alltime leaderboards so why shall they reward the top pk/sparrer now? if they wanted to do that then -still waiting for the full/top 50 of guildtime/pk/bk somewhere.

The majority of the time I see this Sarah sparring, she waits until there are a ton of n00bs in the tourney spar then just streaks. Let me ask...what is this person's record against John Rocker? Enough said.

Whenever i'm in mixed room I always spar or I'm off. I queue against everyone except Alumni, they are free to queue against me but i mostly won't queue against them. So you must be blind. You're rarely even on to be judging the others, you can ask an active sparrer and he'll tell you.
I beat you most of the time so idk what you're talking about. We can series and I'll record It's going to be a 10-0 for me, you aren't even a 2:1 ratio and you've been sparring for years, like way before i started playing graal.

TBH I really liked how there was the memorial in just off the main bridge to the south of graal city. The one with top spar and pk stats of old classic (with people like ffcmike and RainSpear) so bringing back something like that but with milestone stats or histories (perhaps a yearbook?) would be a nice edition, especially for those who have been around since the start.

I know we have the library and such but I think it's something that could be expanded on. It gives players a sense of fame and achievement, as well as community involvement.

On the topic of community involvement, I believe the game is seriously lacking in some aspects of involving the players. It is something that I hope to see being addressed.
