Something that has been bothering me for a while. It is sickening that in 2016 Graal still only has 2 genders to chose from in our profiles. Clearly management have not thought about the gender specifications of other individuals who play this game. Here are the genders they SHOULD have available:

And this cannot be resolved by adding 'Other' as a third gender option, how would you feel after struggling to fit in and be discriminated for your gender specification, and have it referred to as 'Other', it sickens me.

My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. Everyone needs to calm down, this is getting out of hand.These genders are being added in a future update. Essentially the gender expansion pack will allow players to choose from over 50+ predetermined genders. You are not confined to one gender however each change can be purchased with a microtransaction of 3.99.

In a coming update players will also be able to upload their own custom gender if the standard ones don't apply to them.

I happen to be gender fluid. By placing a transaction fee on each gender change, you are oppressing me.

We need to build a big, beautiful wall. Push everyone who feels opressed into swamp and make Classic great again!!

I honestly don't see the problem with making gender a text field. Sure you can put something like broccoli in there, but it can also reveal a lot about a person beyond their gender. Boy, Man, Male, Guy, Bro, Girl, Lady, Female, Gal, Fille, Homme, Garcon, Dude, Dudette, Manchild, etc.

I would be interested in actually seeing if this is something that people have brought up via feedback, I don't think anyone actually cares

Also consider that the playerbase is leaning towards the young side for the most part, I think throwing a huge list of gender options at them is just going to confuse them and put them in that phase where they change what they identify as every week because they don't really know anything about it

Outside of being a forum joke the idea is pointless (and it's a pointless forum joke too)

All you have to do is change the wording to "biological sex" rather than gender and a "private" option for those who dont want to answer.

Biological sex is not as straightforward as you think. You've got people who aren't XY-Male and XX-Female. There's people with XXY, a single X, an X paired with a partial X, 5-alpha-reductase deficiency, you name it.

Then people would put stupid crap like "Potato" and "Bleach"

You can think what you want, but the problem is when it comes to those who genuinely think their biological sex is something else. This can cause issues with things like medical treatment which can differ from gender, to throwing blame on someone in a social situation when they aren't to blame.

If you want to call yourself a made up gender, that's fine. But once you start to harm other people when they do nothing wrong, you're a moron.
