Server you had the most fun on

The server I had the most fun on... ah...
I would have to say... iZone. Some of my funnest memories of Graal, the days that made me burst out laughing, was on iZone.
I started iZone the day it was released, but left until mid 2013. The reason why I moved back was because Slim and a few others was coming on Zone so pretty much everyone in Secret Security that was active at the time (only ones I remember are Slim, Buneary, SnowNoob, Pro, GiantNoob, DjFlippyflip (The Technician) and Goofy (not telling who this is. hint: he was a staff :])

Soooo we left iClassic, went on Zone, cuss out some admins, and had a great laugh.
The most fun I had on Zone was from June of 2013, to November or December of 2013. I consider that the "Golden Age" of iZone.
Slim became a staff under the name of tcS LOL and pretty much trolled everyone.
I think I was featured in one of his admin videos.
October of 2013 was my favorite though because that was when Tashkin gave everyone on the server staff tools such as boots, gani, etc. It was really fun while it lasted only for a few minutes.
The most memorable event that I remember happening on iZone was 133.7 with Azrael and NYN lool.
Those days when jetpacks weren't out and we could only stay within the map's boundaries
Those days when we glitch offmap and discover Goopa Island (I know it was used to host Risk)
Those days when players would crowd around the Event House and wait for the next event...
I love those days.
It was really fun while it lasted.
4th of July was beautiful.
Man, reminiscing about these days will probably make me cry.

Anyways, there you go. Those are my funnest moments during my lifetime on Graal. I used to have pictures of those moments. I posted the entire album on Zone Play before but since the site ****ed up, it's no longer there.

I have never understand how people have the most fun on iEra.
Can you please briefly explain what was so fun on iEra back then?

Jester Lapse 06-02-2016 01:09 AM

Era was dope as hell when there were only like 15 different guns, only grenades and mines and like 3 melee weapons.
Era had(has) a progression system that classic didn't. While you were making money doing jobs or whatever, it was to get a better weapon to become better. Classic was just getting more cosmetics.
Also, there were only like 20 relevant gangs back and 5 bases which made basing more personal because you knew the people in the other gangs.
Most of my fun however was because of the people I met, and the fact I was the leader of one of the most high profile gangs on the server with my own personal friends, not randos.

Brett 06-02-2016 01:14 AM

When Moon God/Goddess ran N-Pulse -- Old PC Classic (Even though i didn't play it tons). They had good music/events/sparring-pking/items and such that made you always want to come back and keep playing. I don't feel the same way about iClassic servers and such.

do you have any pictures of N-Pulse? I've heard people say that it's the best server but never seen it.

Wow. iEra have changed a lot.

You can find some screenshots of N-Pulse, old Maloria, old Delteria among many other servers at http://www.graalonline.com/community/gallery-43

Distorted_P2P 06-02-2016 01:25 AM

N-Pulse wasn't that great of a server everyone knows by the way, there was a reason it died. Only reason we all anticipated the revival was because it had two really good developers behind it.

Brett 06-02-2016 02:00 AM

All servers died because of p2p or severely crippled them. Some more so than others. Everyone has their own opinions, its just the one I enjoyed most. And nope I don't have any pictures unfortunately.

DJ Meow 06-02-2016 02:14 AM

Era. Astro Club. Taxi's. Guns. Oh man I had some good memories playing. I don't play anymore though. I spent most of my time on classic then migrated onto Zone.

DanteGraal 06-02-2016 02:30 AM

Unholy Nation, while being guild leader of Cherry. I loved helping my members with their real life or graal issues and hosting guild events for them, it was a lot of work but I enjoyed it. Dominating events as a group and getting angry messages from non-members wasn't too bad either.

Thallen 06-02-2016 02:33 AM

Old, old Shaded Legend, had a great community, PKing OSL was fun, and the events were nice
Doomsday when Tifa and Davio were involved with management, their CTF was one of the best and it was the #1 overnight server because most of the community was Australian
Babylon all the way up to the Alexander management era, really good events and community
Valikorlia when it was an RPG server, had a really sweet system, better than Maloria's

Weeno 06-02-2016 02:52 AM

zone entertained me but never had one of those hilarious moments. Classic though, many memories but there were never anything good in between those moments. Atm zone is entertaining me because everybody I pk have no skills so the pks are fun

Skyzer 06-02-2016 03:23 AM

When I came back to Graal in 2006, Zone was a lot of fun. Hundreds of people in constant battle. It was the closest thing Graal has had to an open-world war game, and it was ****ing fun.

The Doctor 06-02-2016 03:43 AM

I'd have to agree with you that Zone had its golden age during that time. The community was friendly (and connected like a family), the staff team was awesome, and everything was perfect. I remember doing a show on 133.7 when I was a staff member... good times.

Distorted_P2P 06-02-2016 03:49 AM

To elaborate more on my previous post, Era was probably the most entertaining for me in 2010 because of the community, with families like Scaletta inciting actual gang wars with other families, so their raids were actually entertaining and surprisingly quite tactical. It was like killing with an actual cause.

Not to mention all the drama which didn't always consist of ******ed twelve year olds flaming at each other.

Sardon 06-02-2016 05:14 AM

Unholy nations
Had a lot of fun playing the events and making new friends there community was awesome!

I had some good times on iclassic leading my guild estela through some tough times.

Graal the adventure was really fun, especialy when powder tried to get players to log on and we had 20 players on and were doing events together, it was the first time people from the forum met me ingame which was kinds cool

And I love being an asshole on zodiac because nobody is allowed to own a boat exept for me.

Cecily 06-02-2016 05:23 AM

zone was the most fun server back in the good old pc days with the lame trial systems

playing with 20 players on the iricia planet capturing bases was entertaining

Khai 06-02-2016 05:34 AM

When Zone first came out on ios, the PK place was always filled, admins did hide and seek and kill the admin for hats, I just loved it.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The community was split into two groups: trial noobs and Gold elitists. If you tried to talk to a Gold player, they'd just jetpack onto a wall and ignore you. The server barely had any staff, which was probably a good thing because the new staff kept add unbalanced guns to the game. I have no idea what 133.7 is. You probably weren't a staff member, and if you were; you didn't do anything important.

Hard to disagee with, considering Valikorlia's system was our inspiration back then :p

Personally... Graal the Adventure, Valikorlia pre-flood & Maloria v2 is the most fun I've ever had on Graal.

Crono 06-02-2016 03:29 PM

Valikorlia with an RPG system was kind of cool.

Delteria/Babylon were fun. I group them together because the two basically shared players and had cross-server events.

Zone was good back in ~2004, ruined by about 2007.

Era was actually quite good the first year it was re...re...re?-released in 2006. For once it felt like there was some quality control with Stefan & Skyld running the place, went to **** shortly after and went through ANOTHER reset.

Classic sucked but it had a cute community so it has a special place here.

But at the end of the day Xone 4 lyfe cuz you know...being a noob > anything else on this game in terms of fun factor. :D

Kane 06-02-2016 10:38 PM

Graal X was fun while Kuji was still working on it, before the hacking stuff happened lmao

Atrius, when Madj was managing the server. Met some good friends on there like Kit, Drogan, Sage, and others.

Sands of Glory was a really fun server, even though there was hardly anything done.

Era will always have a place in my heart, was the only server I really played the most.

I think I still have your doll on my long forgotten main account.
Just reminding myself, but you were a coder right??
I think you, Gunderak, and ADi (not really sure if ADi was a coder) were the only coder at the time.

Also, there were no jetpacks on Zone iPhone in 2013.

Wolfie 06-03-2016 02:07 AM

imo, the beginning of iOl'West was pretty fun too. I had some great moments when it first came out. The hype died out after a few months and I quit Ol'West after Easter 2015. At first, I was planning on getting on only to buy seasonal and holiday items, but then I stopped because I got other things to do.
Also, shoutout to Hanson because we broke the in-game forum the way we did with iZone years ago by spamming xD.

I feel so jealous like a missed out on so much. Never played any grasp until late 2013 :( that's some really bad timing! Is it because I'm young and couldn't play back then?

I don't know though.

I've been GPA and Server Admin for some time, but I've also scripted many events (GraalMan, Floors).

I've left Zone iPhone because of school pretty much. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to reconsider a position because of my job

I really miss iClassic's Event Years, maybe it was just because it had a lower playercount but I remember being able to find warpers so much and the joy I got from winning events was great, one of the reasons I left Classic back to UN was events. I tried to get in events for like two weeks and didn't get in one.

Maybe, but I stopped playing Graal in 2004 until 2006.

Ethacon 06-03-2016 01:49 PM

Honestly the first server I ever played on is iclassic. You can make great memories on iclassic despite the cringe worthy game itself. (No offense) Whenever I think of graal I think of iclassic, as if it represented graal as it is today. I almost quit to completely join iera because I played on it ALOT. Then I went back to iclassic. I went through another stage where I almost quit and completely joined iol'west. I don't really play era or ol west anymore so I think I'm back with classic. I never really played zone that much , only went on for free stuff etc.

All of them at timesiclassic: Was fun when first started/started to progress with guilds, map, forts etc-fatal pretty much kept me playing..not many other games have done that.
iera: Not many of classic people played it but I saw it kinda a break off classic and was decent shame the high prices and OP spam behind doors cut the fun for me.
izone: Future style space theme always sounds good.. But it was showdown that I had fun doing the most there.steppingstone server
iol'west: Olden day theme cowboys and indians, kinda an era all over again but has it's own things from the others like the leveling in jobs so can earn more cash and the house farming is good, Also love that the gfx staff do great job there redoing stuff etc to freshen it up from time to time.
idelteria:oh wait can we call it that..ermm I like the storyline/quests (Always wanted iclassic to do) also nice gfx imo and the mix of combat is pretty cool shame its hard for that to be balanced much though, always gnna be something op there imo.
