Cannot Sleep
I cannot sleep...
I have been laying here on my bed for the past 2 hours unable to sleep. I am exhausted as hell, but my body just won't rest... Any suggestion on what I can do to sleep? |

Hold your breath until you pass out

inhale slowly through your nose for 4 seconds
hold it for 7 quickly exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds (if you finish exhaling early you still need to wait the full 8 seconds) repeat like 2-3 times altho i take sleeping pills, this breathing technique still kind of helps me |

Hit yourself with a baseball bat really hard in the head but make sure you're on your bed so you don't fall and hit your head or something

I'm late but here's a tip:
Turn off every single light there is in your house and close the windows so it's pitch black. Then, shut down every single device there is. After that I suggest you take a shower (I'm serious) to me this really helps to refresh me and makes me feel cozy when sleeping. And sleep under a blanket if you have to so you'll just see the dark and sleep. |

If you need to sleep, what you should do is:
turn off all the lights in your room and turn your TV on, find the worst channel possible (infomercial, E! if the kardashian show is on, or anything else similar to that) and just start watching it. You'll fall asleep in no time. |

Nah but really it depends on how you feeling, like if something on your mind alot, you'd tend to be less likely to sleep i.e. family relative died, work/college/school stress, basically any problem. Once you sort that out/take that out of your mind then you'll sleep better. ... But also stuff like doing fitness or just generally tiring yourself out through out the day i.e working harder than usual will help, also try cut out on if drink any energy/fizzy drinks throughout the day. |
Move your lower body a lot. What it does is that the blood starts flowing from your brain to your legs making the brain stop its unimportant functions inducing sleep.
Another technique is to blink your eyes as quickly as possible for around 4 minutes. The eye muscles get fatigued and are not able to keep the eye in the open state. I do the combination of these two which works everytime. |

Best way to fall asleep is to study. While in the bed with a light on. Works really good for me. |
