Who would you prefer to be the new manager?
 

I AM JUST CURIOUS THIS IS BY NO MEANS A THREAD TO DEGRADE/PUT DOWN CURRENT/PAST MANAGERS.
Seeing as iZone's manager changes every 3 days, who would you like to see as Zone's manager?
O gosh that title is misleading, can a mod change the title to "Who would you like to see as Zone's manager?
Also, some of the options on there are the first options that came to mind, it's not meant to put them above others (ie anyone can be voted for regardless of whether they are on the poll or not)
I think Cheltarrar is doing a great job despite the fact that he is from Delteria, though I personally think a 'native' from Zone would do Zone more justice. Though, Cheltarrar is a great manager from what I have seen from him.

Interesting thread,although I don't think i'll vote for any, but would like a manager thats motivated themselves and can set out projects while doing the basic holiday rota also they need to be very good in scripting as majority of projects fail simply because there isn't a scripter than can do it or work something out around it.

Silver has done more **** for Zone than anyone recently. He shows he actually cares about the server.

Definitely Silver. Some of the people on that list I wouldn't even like to come back to the staff team, let alone be manager. Shmeq is the only exception.

To add on to my decision, he's the only motivated yet trustworthy person, shmegg and pigparty are trustworthy but i don't think they want the job, and there's major issues with everyone else which is why they shouldn't be managers.

That's true. But Silver is still learning. You don't need to code very well to be manager. In fact, that's been Zone's biggest mistake. Promoting people to leadership positions based on their developmental skill. There's been some horrid people in leadership positions who don't deserve to be staff in general, but are, simply because of their developmental capabilities, or simply because a spot is open and management has always felt that open spots must be filled! It definitely helps to know how to code as manager, considering Zone has no coder dedicated to the server. Really it boils down to decision-making, and Tashkin made some pretty bad decisions. Although, everyone would, because you can't know how different things would play out. And granted, Tashkin did some pretty good things as well. I highly doubt Tashkin would want to come back and manage Zone, and I don't blame him.

Okay you want to know how I feel I don't want a manger I want everyone to be able to work together without a hierarchy telling them what to do and whats wrong I want them to see what's right and wrong and I want a group of people who know what's good for the server and what the players want. (I said to many wants)

Have you not seen America's checks and balances system? It's good for preventing one side from taking over, but it also is good at preventing anything from getting done. You need a manager, and they won't always be right, but someone eventually must have the final say.

You haven't developed before so you may not know that it would only cause chaos and seperate the team.

the team must work together and stay on the same page, not do their own thing and never get things finished.

Silver was a great staff member and a very cool person.

Okay, how about this - I call it the "Holy Trinity" Idea.

3 qualified people are 'quality control' people with managerial powers. They each would approve, veto, or abstain on an idea/concept/art/thing/etc. and if there was a draw or fail, the idea would not go through and if it was a pass, it would. I need sleep right now sorry if this doesn't make sense

I'm actually really happy to see such a force for a change in management, one of the things (as many have said before) that is holding Zone down is the uncooperability or unopenness to new ideas. Where it stands now, I'd be the best for Zone, I've always heard great ideas come from him, it's just actually getting the approval to do it is what's holding everyone back.
