Captain America: Civil War

What do you guys think of the movie? I personally likes the spiderman moments

Weeno 05-07-2016 05:28 AM

I really want to watch it but I don want to wait in a 2 hour line for the movies where I know a bunch of ppl are just going to yell and ruin the movie.

Jent 05-07-2016 11:22 AM

That's the worst. Luckily I never had that problem where I am.

Vicipower 05-07-2016 11:47 AM

friends and me wanted 2 see it but one of our friends hates captain america so we couldnt go since we cant leave her alone, rip. So Probs watching it online.

Or we lowkey force our friend tomorrow to watch it with us.
Kinda think it wont top Deadpool for me tbh.

Bryan* 05-07-2016 07:35 PM

wildkeldeo 05-08-2016 06:54 AM

Was quite surprised that they made Peter younger, but I adjusted to it just fine in the movie! ;)

Dino 05-08-2016 07:46 PM

Pr0m4N V.14 05-09-2016 04:41 AM

Why the hell are the Avengers in a Captain America movie? And who is that black dude?

Bryan* 05-09-2016 04:42 AM

Spidey moments were hilarious

By the black dude in not sure if you're referring to the one in the suit or the one with the wings. The one in the black suit is black panther, and the dark skinned one is falcon

Hugop 05-09-2016 07:55 AM

It was bad, but then Spiderman and Antman came and everything became much better :P

Without them, it would be pure ****.

There's 3 black characters in this movie: Rody aka War Machine, Sam Wilson aka Falcon, and T'Challa aka Black Panther. Which one you're referring to?

If you see the movie, you'll understand why partial of the Avengers are there. Either in the movie or the comics. Some are for the government and others want to be free to do what they want. Hence why Iron Man is against Captain America.

Bucky : "Can you move your seat up"?

Hawkeye "No"

Lmaoo

Fulgore 05-10-2016 06:23 AM

The movie was overall decent until we hit the end, where it went waaaayyyy downhill.

The Spiderman parts were good, but the way he was brought in and taken out seem very half-assed.

I thought it worked. I am just happy they didn't retell Spiderman's origin story for the 10000 time. The way they introduced him seemed natural and consistent to the plot.

Brick 05-12-2016 02:06 AM

I thought it was great. Probably my 3rd favorite Marvel movie.

5hift 05-12-2016 02:57 AM

Yeah I thought it was pretty good.

Compared to DC's take on a hero vs hero plot in Batman vs Superman, this was much better than that crap.

Nanner 05-12-2016 03:31 AM

Was pretty good. I always love marvel and can't wait for all the new marvel movies coming out. This movie was good but it was more of just setting us up IMO for the next movies. #Infinity Wars <3

Admiral 05-12-2016 09:53 AM

Comedy was great, Stan Lee cameo was great, Black Panther was dope

All in all, a good film. Now we wait for X Men!!

I'm not going to say anything because I don't want to spoil it, but the whole plot of Civil War does kind of set the Avengers up for a good spot for Infinity Wars...

CW seemed like its own contained story really. Maybe I'm missing something because I didn't read the comics, but all CW did was introduce spiderman and black panther, and escalated the strife between iron man and cap thats been there for like 3 movies already.

Only reference to IW was Vision talking about how he wants to control his mind gem

Colin 05-16-2016 03:34 PM

For Jester:
Spoiler
Well, this is a Captain America film and not the Avengers 3, but there are still some parts in the movie that will link to Infinity War (as marvel has sort of been building it up across all their movies).

When I said it puts the Avengers in a good place, it's because in Civil War we see the Avengers divide and separate into two groups that are against each other, as well as the people turning against them and starting to doubt the Avengers and their ability to help.

Iron Man and Cap were actually friends as stated by Tony when he replies "So was I.." to Cap saying Bucky is his friend so he has to help him, a lot of the fights we see in the Marvel universe are physical but in Civil War it focuses on a fight between the characters mentally creating a divide between them they will later need to fix in Infinity War and also prove to the general population that they need the Avengers.

Civil War alone may not lead too much into Infinity War, but throughout all the Marvel movies they each provide small pieces to how Infinity War will go (like showing us the infinity stones). The Avengers play a key role in Infinity War, so creating an issue between them is something that will definitely be played out in the movie.

ahh makes sense. I thought you meant that CW was actually setting up IW literally.

They did this because Spider-Man is suppose to be a younge teenager, in the original spider movies, he looks more like an adult. Hence why the new Spider-Man movie is homecoming
