It's just something to give using a morph a little more pizazz. It doesn't work with the rat morph, don't know if that's intentional or not.

Because morphs are smokin' hot

I like this update as it makes the transition into a morph kinda smother and seem like is not just a random instant thing , however for the cloud design it doesn't really look pixel made which really bothers me ....

Seems a bit over-the-topic. I think it looks pretty bad, especially when you can just spam morph and have the black fog surround you. Can others see it, or is it just you? Just wondering because I did spam it, and no one said anything. I think it would look better if it was semi-transparent and smaller; it would also be better if it was catered toward various morphs, so a bright easter morph might have a pink fog, rather than dark black.

There's like over a hundred morphs. It will suck to come back to all of the old morphs just for some recolored fogs

The smoke looks like something a bomb would make if it exploded, its cute and all but it takes up a lot of my vision if I wanna morph whilst evading things. Should have an option to remove it imo.

Interesting concept. Seems kinda pointless... but maybe we'll get to see others' poofs of smoke if the server has less than 2000 people online at some point and someone gets their hands on the controls who maybe shouldn't ?

The wolf morph is smoking black, when you transform as a wolf

If others could see it people would do it in mass and lag people out, so the evil-doers of Graal could have another weapon in their arsenal.

Was obviously dusty duh.

Now we need one ore two more quest morphs like the rat. I would very much so like a new morph you can get via quest that has a special attack, even if it's no different than swinging a sword. Anything more at most could be a projectile that isn't anything extra fancy and uses stamina as ammo.

Now that I remember didnt that weird cave wizard guy that sells furniture do the same smoke appearance.

If it is the guy who sells the Rat at the Railways then yeah. If i'm right,he would make the Rat appear from Black Smoke.

You can see your avatar change into your morph before the black smoke even comes.

It does seem to be a rather ominous black cloud. Grey is the neutral flavour everyone enjoys :D Smart idea to leave the new gfx client side so we don't encounter the kingdom of Spam-a-lot lol

As is the case for practically all the particle effects. Pixel art doesn't look very nice when it's handled the way particles are(rotated, scaled, stretched).

It's just nicely AA.
