New region? In the last part of the announcement trailer it said something about combining them all together I think, so would that be playing through all of the regions in 1 game? That worked for 2nd gen but it would be such a grind now imo

Stupid question, but what do people mean when they say, "gen __"? Does each generation means Pokemon on a new console? Like gen means consoles?? If so, how is Sun/Moon Gen 7? Shouldn't it still be gen 6 since it's being developed for 3DS?

Yeah kinda. Each generation reflects each set of Pokemon games.

For example, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are all apart of generation 3 and X and Y are apart of generation 6.

It's what Pokemon generation it is. This is the 7th series. Like first was Red and Blue (1st gen), then gold and silver (2nd gen), then Ruby and Sapphire (3rd gen), then diamond and pearl (4th gen), then black and white (5th gen), then x and y (6th gen), and now sun and Moon (7th gen).

I LOVED the character customization. I really really hope they have that again. Maybe even expand on it. Add more hairstyles and clothes and stuff.

The pokemon following you was by far my favorite part of Soul Silver and Heart Gold. If they could pull that off in their new graphics style AND have customs characters, I would probably cry.

We've been waiting for character customization for years, I'd personally love unnatural hair colors so then I can make my character I created as a sprite (Cutieno) be real in a pokemon game xD I've even thought of hacking ORAS and changing the female model to make it how my online character looks:

Actually a generation is when a main series of games is released introducing a healthy amount of Pokemon (usually 100+) that can play important parts in the development of both the main games of Pokemon and the competitive side of it.

In my opinion pokemon already lost most of it's glory with the games so can't say I'm hyped. Maybe they'll add some special new feature though idk

The way I see it; every generation EXCEPT gen 5 is amazing and considering there are 6 generations and only one of them actually pisses me off, the chances of this new series being good is pretty high up there.

I actually liked gen 5 tbh, I think it had the best plot/storyline out of all of the games (even though most of the Pokemon were terribad)
