Anyone else crashing?

All PC users keep getting d/c from what I am seeing. Reload the game on PC, and no joy.

I can log on ipad instantly though.

Would be hilarious if all PCs get d/c during gst. I'd get on tablet really quick and win by default :P

Does it let you on then disconnect, or does it say disconnected from server as soon as you try to log in. Sometimes the latter will happen if you aren't using an https link to Facebook, the error gets cahed and it will keep happening for a while until you clear cache and reopen web browser (CCleaner helps).

If it doesn't let you reconnect, the fastest fix is:

Windows key + r
Type "cmd" then enter
Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press enter
Refresh page

It only happens to pcs, plus i already flushed dns two days ago.

It does let you reconnect, it's not an ip issue, it's graal's flash issue.

The huge lag spikes d/c pcs, while idev still stays on

Happens to me alot nowadays especially when it's morning time for America so i guess it's because of the overloaded server.

Only happen to me sometimes. What I mean by sometimes is once or twice every few week

I'm getting some disconnect... and some black areas in game. It's kinda funny. I just get random spots I can't travel to that are all blacked out. Everything else is totally fine and I see players running around, but certain areas are just gone.

Someone please fix this.

I connected on pc and I was fine so maybe I didn't go to the right areas???

haven't crashed yet. just laggy when i enter a new room.
could it be the new quick access menu causing this problem?

It's nearly 8 AM CST as of this post. I just got disconnected for the first time. I'm using a 2015 Macbook Air on Safari

Why was this thread moved? I'm not giving ideas, this is just a discussion, asking people if they use PC and crash, and why it's happening.

I don't think Dev can do anything about how flash connects. Moreover, I've never had disconnecting issues on flash client while in game. I've had "the server could not be reached" message before, but using an https url to facebook helped me get that less often.

I tested all 3 devices. PC, iPad, and Android Phone. It's 2 in the morning with 1,800 players online, so my ms should be pretty low.

Pros: None
Cons: It affects sparring, other than that, the game runs pretty well, as long as you don't have weather effects on while it's snowing, and full screen with 100% zoom.

iPad
70, 68, 69, 61, 60, 60, 78, 70
Pros: iOS is really optimized, as far as settings go, it all depends on your device.
Cons: None

Android
70, 70, 70, 64, 69, 81, 72, 70
Pros: Android is also well optimized, Almost always at the same number in ms.
Cons: Probably none, except for some slowness here and there when you have weather on, and zoomed out a bit. Might just depend on your device.

Really doesn't matter which PC I use, my laptop gets the same latency ranges as my desktop.

Summary

Even when plugged in, PC latency goes wild. Even when there are only 1,800 people online, PC latency goes wild. I remember when the gap between them was only 10-20ms, but now it even gets double the latency that mobile gets? That's pretty crazy.

When there are a lot of lag spikes, basically when there are 4k+ online (4,300), only PCs start getting disconnected. There will probably be a lot of re-dos in mixed gst, if this issue continues.

This mostly only affects sparring, and a smaller number of players (when compared to mobile), so I'm sure it's not the #1 priority, but since gst is coming up, I was wondering how/if this will be fixed. Maybe it's time to switch to something that can handle graal? I wouldn't mind downloading an iClassic Client.


Side Note

Loading the game takes super long sometimes on PC. I've tested iPad at the same time. iPad loads instantly, while PC sometimes takes minutes, due to having to reload when the green bar doesn't continue to load.

Never have had this problem, even when the server was attacked and we were told to flush our DNS, I didn't have to. I play from Mac, and from FaceBook, so maybe that makes a difference. Not saying it doesn't happen by any means, obviously does

The moment when you are at belle and half of the PC members freeze at the same time lol

literally happened 4 times in the last hour
is this just a reality that all PC players are going to have to deal with from now on

the days of streaking 100+ are behind us
