Most Recognizable Names in iClassic as of 2016
 

Hi everyone! I know there have been threads similar to this one before, but usually they seem to be more geared toward spar / sparrers.

What I wanted to know is who you think the most recognizable names / famous of the players, guilds, and staff. They don't have to be active now, just the ones that you think are the most famous or recognizable from iClassic's history this far. If you'd like, you can include active / inactive lists (especially for staff, where the first ones I think of are usually inactive).

I'm especially interested in the opinions of newer players, who are bound to have radically different opinions than mine (The old staff guilds are often at the top of my mind).

You can add sparrers to the "players" list, but there has been so much discussion of top sparrers and I want this thread to be more broad.

I'll post a list a bit later.

People said Zanza but honestly, don't even know why. Az NYN and the other OGs were long gone and it just became this guild that slowly went inactive and kept to them/ourselves.

I don't think newer players would recognize any sparrers, maybe someone who's consistently at the top of the leaderboard. Maybe they'd recognize the name Alumni, since they've been winning so many gsts. People who don't spar actively don't really know anything about sparrers, from what I've seen. I don't think many guilds are really recognizable either, since they aren't around for too long. Most people are familiar with the Beg For Mercy guilds, mostly just because of Slim and his antics. Newer players won't recognize guilds like CoM, SoN, or Maphasy either, since there isn't an all-time leaderboard anymore. I think it'll be pretty hard to be recognizable in this new generation of Graal. Only people spending all their time in a certain aspect of the game would be familiar with certain guilds, let alone the actual people in those guilds.

How does one become popular on a game.

It's been 28 days into 2016 and I don't recall anyone or any group to be popular. Being popular in Graal isn't a platform to have pride in.

ive caught 20+ noobs in graal city & quick spar room pretending that they were thallen, primetime or were in alumni, mother, US.
just like when we were noobs looking up to US members. people know who they are even though they don't even have 1k spar wins.
not all of them of course, but GST and spar is pretty big event, so they know whatsup

It's very possible that I'm wrong. Then again, I've never heard anyone but sparrers themselves mention any sparring guilds or players(unless they actually talk to the players). To the extent that I'm not even familiar with them.

most recognizable person on iClassic is probably MAEBY, because every single tower guild I've ever been in has had "the MAEBY chat"

Shean* is getting popular he solos so much and is really a good solo artist and he held Castle and Mod as a double with 1 at each and held castle for 2 hours with only him and his friend in 2015

Also Fang is pretty popular for towering and now going for a 5k Guild B leader </3 is a big pk artist and Sheikha is at the most pks leading with 842k pks and Thallen is also popular for guilds and Sparing
