Graal Depot iFiling
 

Graal Depot has always been a problem iFiling heads, but recently they have done it again. There are tons of player's iFiled personal heads on there. They have removed all of their old heads, and iFiled all of these new ones. They have gotten many players heads including: Yogurt, Vici, and even Leah. You can ask them to remove the file and they would, but that doesn't mean they will stop iFiling your heads. Go see for yourself all of the stolen heads they have.

You would if you spent hours on a personal head, and then someone else takes credit for it.

This is why you don't post stuff on the internet and no one really cares who makes the head

I got like 2-3 bodies and 4-5 heads uploaded ugh (ive also seen heads/bodies of people that edited my stuff whitout permission)

Totally stopped caring about it after they removed my head(i asked) and about two days later it was added back. Asked again, removed, was added back days later. Rinse, repeat.(I) Don't upload heads anymore for that reason

There should be a way to tell if it is a personal or not, and if anyone else has it, it would be automatically denied.

what about twin Uploads, or if someone wants to share the head with someone else like a friend n stuff yo

Meh. I don't really mind much if anyone uses my head, just a shame it's now mixed in with all those other ugly ones.

I can say for a certainty that this probably would be very hard to implement. What if they change one pixel to dark brown instead of it's original color, and the file is unrecognized as yours? Unless you would try and script in a system for that, but it wouldn't be easy and would probably not work all that well either.

Would love to see it, but in the end I think it's just not possible at the moment for graal in general.

there's a good idea for this though.
mini carnival allows people to purchase player-made skins from the shop.
classic could basically do the same and skin makers makes $gralatz$.

What I don't understand isn't "Graal Depot" the only location to upload files to any other servers? So wouldn't any file you use to upload to the desire server, be in their database regardless.

Ive been dealing with depot for a long ass time, I got used to it, luckily I PM'd the owner on classic 2 years ago to avoid me, now I just gotta find the owner yet again. Besides that my heads and such are still at risk and I dont need more Red's running around. But not much can be done besides request removals

no they don't take care of the site to upload graphics to servers if that's what you mean (http://classicupload.graalonline.com/)

What he meant was that any file uploaded to any idevice servers would be uploaded to theirs as well.

Anything uploaded to graal is copyrighted to graal eg our uploads. Therefore depot are putting uploads on their site which are copyrighted meaning they're liable to get sued for copyright infringement I think

Toonslab, but since the images are mostly reused within the game, its not really causing financial harm to the company

Graal Depot would actually be good if it took more care of ownership of heads or if it was run by some staff who could check if the head or body is already uploaded or see whos the original owner

Since they don't bother to rename the files after they take them from the game files, you can find your heads pretty easily if you plug in your head's filename (you can get it with #3 on furniture) into the end of the URL. (After you click on a head, make sure you are also in the right section.)

In the heads' file name, it also shows Graal ID's.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean by them not changing the file names. That is the way they are formatted on the game, you can find your head's file name by putting #3 on a piece of furniture as I stated above.

So if you know who made a certain head, there is a chance that the one Graal Depot uploaded is theirs and contains their account id. (Unless they took it from someone who stole it, then it will have their account id.)

Sad to see people like Livid, fulgore, junior, david, mk, eko, Ak, nugs, brett, mish, contego, strum, jeffy, dark, dae, goten, eddy, yoghurt, leah, candy, cherry, cookie, jared, bryan, chun, ariona11, cutieno, sun, hillyduck, teacupdolly, logan, and many others heads being ripped.

Had it happen to me a few years back and the owner obviously never learnt his lesson.
They yanked one of the heads I refunded as well (6th one across)

What really dissapointed me was that the owner has straight up screwed over hilly's website, she is a very talented and aspiring gfx artist and its sad to see all of her creations as well as her personal heads stolen as well.

Almost every single head found there is now accessible via graal depot thus slowing down the traffic of her website which to me is plain wrong.

Ohhh, so if you don't care, that means no one does. I get it :D

People who make their own personal heads to use in-game do it so they can stand out, show a little of their uniqueness. It's kind of lame to have to share those "personal" heads with other people. At least we still have personal shields and swords.

I saw that one already infact theirs been edits of that for way longer, they can get a ton of edits and I wouldnt care cuz they cant be the original.
