Era, the Game that is Losing Players Fast
So, I myself quit actively playing era about a year ago. I downloaded and checked in at times just to see if there was anything new. To my surprise (not really surprised) there has been nothing new but maybe a couple of guns. Era is a dying game. As long as the staff isn't doing their job and providing us new content the game will continue to die. The lack of competitive play on this game is also a reason I stopped playing. One competitive event (GST) isn't enough to satisfy those who actually play to be the best. League of Legends is a game that has a season through out the year. Maybe era could implement the same find of thing. Have like 10 teams of maybe 10 people who play 1 game a week for a season and have the top 8 teams enter a single elimination tounament where the winners would receive some kind of prize. (Graalts, etc.)

The game isn't dying at all the team is continue trying to improve the game. We also hitted our player record some weeks ago(4,6k players)
So no. |
2016 is the year of improvement, mark my words. Our average player-count has also risen quite significantly, so not too sure what you're talking about to be honest.
|
I'll go back to frequently and actively playing Era if gun rusting effects were nerfed or removed and they weren't honest-to-heart trying to sell guns at 100k gralats a piece.
|
you realise graal isnt meant to be heavily content based and wouldnt work as such?
the social aspect is its main feature, hence mmorpg |

I like how whenever someone doesn't get what they want or content isn't being released at an "acceptable" rate according to their standards, a server is all of a sudden "dying".
|
Era is really successful. Even though players are ungrateful and just buy packs there's like twelve updates every month. Seasons are automatically worked on and changed for the holidays too.

It's just deflection of obvious pay2win concepts embedded in Era. |

If you have feedback on the game, by all means, post it.
But don't use bait-clicky titles like this otherwise people are going to get the idea that you're trying to bash the game. |

Era don't look like it's dying. I mean I haven't touched the server since Nov because I got jailed but I check Era-Go time to time and saw the thread about the 4.2k players. It might be dying by your standards, but overall it seem to be doing just fine.
|
more than fine its succeeding. Everything from graphics to levels are great.

The "13 year old" developer thing made me laugh aswell, wasn't that how old you were when you were staff here? Besides to my knowledge our youngest staff is/ was 15, not sure if he is still even working here either Quote:
Even without the 100k guns, you can still be competitive with that price range with 50-60k guns, it just requires more skill on your part which will ultimately make you a better player anyway than the people who just buy the 200k guns and hold shoot. If you just work for it you can get 50k anyway from doing jobs, awhile back I made a new account and made a basic money making guide which got me about 7k in a few hours, I was only using a neo rifle and ap7s for a total cost of 15k and then a custom head and body for 30k and I was still able to have fun sparring and doing some basing |

Dsr 50 is from black ops 2 rofl
also in 2016 multiplex and countryside should be releasing (im sure about multiplex but im not sure of countryside) 3k players is a pretty good player count in my opinion |
First of all, everyone is coming back after the reset.
Second, I'm not even going to waste my time arguing why the iPhone server isn't even comparable to the PC server. There's a reason why it's been around since 2002. All you iEra nerds care about is playercount. You guys think that having a large playercount makes up for the utterly atrocious content and server as a whole. Like I said, there are honestly only like 5 player that I actually like that type in gramatically correct and legible phrases. Plus it seems like all you guys are capable of doing is stealing content from us. If you've got so many good, talented developers, why are the majority of graphics from Era? |

Awesome job deleting my post Colin but keeping the whole other posts with the arguing intact.
|
I just want to note that a server can be going "to sh1t/downhill" even with the player base increasing. If you can make sense of that then you will understand where some of these guys are coming from. Don't worry if you can't make sense of that most people can't.
|
It's just that era has been developing a lot. Player count helps us know that how much people play the game regardless of their age. Era always has something to update and things are always changing. There's so much staff you can tell a lot of people wanna just help the game. People really enjoy the game people are constantly uploading YouTube videos of graal era, and plus levels are gigantic, everything is connected and the map is big and there's players everywhere and not just at one spot. There's also many ways to get gralats and because there's like 40 shops players usually have something to save up for. Oh boy this is my longest reply ever.
