If this was a thread a year and a half ago I'd have said no, ask me maybe 3-5 years from now, I'll probably say yes. As of now, it's pretty ok leaning more towards yes.

My body pillow left me for my pet cat and I waste my life playing games in my room. I also smell, I'm getting nowhere in life and I'm as happy as can be. :)

Now to think of it, yeah I hate my life but not in like a suicidal way. it's all because of school I seem to always be working and studying until after midnight so I only get about six hours of sleep which I can never make the best out of. I honestly don't have any true friends either so atm my life sux if I'm not in the house.

My entire class is failing math including me,
I get depressed all the time, I cut contact with half of my friends bcuz I can't handle it anymore but tbh most of them left me so its ok, I didnt get anything for Christmas and spent the entire day alone locked up in my room,
my friend bought me undertale but the game is regionblocked so I couldnt Play it & sent it back,
I got 3 hats out of 42 gifts... hmm what else.. My friend bought me a 25$ iTunes Card!!

so i couldnt use it.
I'm broke.
My friends get mad at me all the time and idk why and I'm sleeping half of the day (I woke up at 6pm today).
I also have terrible artblocks and my friends at School Kind of make me feel like Im invisble and just that one friend thats just there basically.

So I think everything is going pretty good, yes yes.

But it is also mentally scaring leaving you with empty shell of a person so when you get out in the real world the only thing you really know how to do is the Pythagorean theorem.

Honestly, school has ruined my life and every good aspect I still had to offer.

Tell me about it... seriously school is just a popularity contest with a little bit of learning. I mean, yes, it is very important..but it really needs to change.

I had teachers and a school nurse that were only nice to the popular kids and treated the rest like gum stuck to the bottom on their shoe. The worst part is when you tell people about teachers that act like that and they don't believe you, so you just have to put up with them. One teacher would consistently embarrass me and make me look like an idiot in front of the entire class at any opportunity he got.

Also had a class that I barely passed when I was a senior because the teacher gave "participation points" and would mark you down if you didn't raise your hand and talk. As an introvert, that wasn't something I wanted to do.

And don't even get me started on presentations oh god it sparks up my anxiety just thinking about it.

This is so true! School also sucks because you are forced to be around people even if you dislike them or if they bully you. Teachers do nothing about that aswell. (I've been through that stupid crap)

I have a little form that says teachers have to take it easy on me in the public speaking department.

Well, since we're on the topic of education, I feel as though the whole system needs to be refitted for the future. A lot of genuinely intelligent people are being stigmatized due to their inability to mesh with classmates and teachers. Likewise, we're stuck imploring ponderous tomes that we couldn't care less about, and for what? Our inherent creativity is slowly being sucked away by this system. People need to be able to spread their wings.

In regards to the OP, I can't stand the notion of self-pity. I can confidently say that I love my life.

Kinda sucks that you have to have a form to get teachers to leave you alone instead of just telling them "hey I have social anxiety so can you just not?"

I agree. My teachers at my other school were like that and I actually really appreciated it. But then again, I disliked this school before he year even started. I feel out of place and awkward all the time lol

My teachers, though I'm not one of the popular kids, respect me even though I rarely speak in most classes. I don't know what it is but somehow all the teachers know who I am before I even start a new semester in a new class. In Ap Composition I was called to speak on the first couple of weeks of school, but I haven't publicly spoken since unless it was a required assignment. Thank god he didn't, because I would hate to have my writing put to the stage in front of a bunch of suck ups.
