Sparring Tournament
 

Hello everyone! So as many of you know by Trimaster's threads, UN is trying really hard to sustain right now. So in light of that, and to promote the server, I will be hosting a spar tournament on UN! The winner will receive a 50$ Amazon card, so you can get anything you want!

The tournament will be on 12/26 at 4:30 Eastern Time


Rules:

• Must PM me your PC Graal ID or Community name- Or post below thread
• Must have a latency below 200
• No Thallen
• Must enter before 12/25 so I can set up the roster.

spar tournaments should be kept anonymous and when you face them, you cant see their nick and their outfit would appear to be some phantom

that way people dont know who they are facing :) would make spars more interesting and people wouldnt be biased by fear or other negative emotions

When you're sparring use a red outfit. Science is the key to victory.

The problem with this is that you can't employ certain things you do vs. certain people that you found out helps you win. Additionally, you can't know who is a known delayer/foreigner until you get hit 5 times.

Wouldn't added difficulty make it more fun? It would make people adapt on the spot instead of already knowing what to do. Especially since the spar community is always going on about skills.

I mean since it applies to everyone it's fine for that, but I think it'd be really annoying for a lot of people. Plus, it covers up weaknesses of people by eliminating knowledge of the name, so they can't be exploited.

which makes it purely intuitive, so it really is "skill" then, because you have to adapt to every situation immediately without being able to prepare, training the reflexes even more

Wouldn't change much at all, people who are good will still be on top

i think a lot of people are demotivated by who is entering though :p

i agree with fulgore. you will do better when u know who u are up against. esp foreigners.

but also agree with brett. people like him can quickly adapt their style and know what to do next.
