1k Hats Take Forever!
 

I have waited a little over a month for ie 1k hat to be uploaded, and it got denied. It took a MONTH just to respond to our upload request. So my friend Jae and I had to go back to the drawing board, request a new hat design from our artist, and send another email. It's been about a week and we haven't heard anything thing back.

There has to be a way to improve this uploading system for hats. It's really discouraging. We'd like to continue towering, but can't risk kicking people who are already helping other guilds in fear that they may miss out on the hat.

Why can't 1k hats be submitted similarly to how bodies, heads, swords, and shields are uploaded?

I only have 2 1k hats bud, and one's from years ago. If you actually read what I typed I said that I'd like to continue towering with my guild. Not aiming for 5k, or whatever. I just want to enjoy towering with my friends.

because there needs to be list of graalids etc to give to right players and right guild else anyone could upload a hat and say yeah im from that guild that just got 1k!

p.s are guilds still going for just 1k x_x if so they should write down all the guildsnames and positions they was in at that time then have hall of fame with top 50or top20 then scrap the list and restart, maybe more competitiveness will arrive and could become a seasonal thing or that point system thing that apparently was in plans could do something like that and bring in more activities and ldrbds(that will link in with earning points)

Apparently they're having a complete overhaul of the entire towering system / guild system sometime next year, so I really wouldn't be concerned with its competitiveness right now. And yeah, a lot of guilds are going for 1k and calling it quits, or moving onto another guild. I'm pretty sure TaKaii is the only active towering guild with over 2k hours.

Back when Coco did the hats, it would be done in a week or so. Now that xor does it, it takes about a month or even more. I don't blame him as he's very busy.

That's dumb considering Bengal got theirs pretty fast just after they hit 1k

Well me and many other members on the list kept asking mood why we don't have our hat yet, he never responded to any of our pms and sugar was puzzled as well. He let sarah make the hat the other day and its literally a colour change to an iEra pk reward hat...kms

You guys would be surprised how difficult it is to find cooperative, quality hat makers, so I don't blame anyone who takes hella long to get it made, but they do usually take forever to upload it as well

well if you don't like it another member not on hat list would probably be glad to receive it

so the 24 others on the hat list who don't like it either should give their spots up

Lol, I don't want to get caught up in the middle of a flame war, but your logic makes no sense. God forbid someone have an opinion on a hat they dedicated a month or so toward earning.

Did they give a reason why the first one was rejected / can we see pic?

I'll see if my friend still has the email, I didn't upload it myself since I'm not recieving the hat on my main account. I'll post it shortly if possible, or have him post it.

Edit: He told me it had something to do with the file, but I am not sure. If you'd like to ask him directly he currently owns ie.

okay well instead of complaining, find a solution. obviously they're trying their best to find a hat

I'm honestly curious how many of classics 1k hats are actually original and not edited. All these "gfx artists" editing others work ;D

I'm Klay's 'friend', the first hat was allegedly not attached and therefore they replied letting me know it wasn't, as such this gave us a chance to rethink the hat, so we remade it and resubmitted it. I haven't gotten a reply to let me know it has been recieved as such we have been waiting.

What I did with my mount and hats is getting the 25 members ID but again you shouldn't trust people with your ID number since idk.

I'm fairly certain you've had your fair shair of towering rewards, so that's why I called it ironic. There was literally no reason to come onto this thread to try an insult me. I don't play Graal for hats like most of the community. I've had my account since 2011 and only have 6 or so hat pages, including the default hats.

Completely irrelevant to this thread however.

I don't see how getting everyones id's will help since hats are distributed through the guild now I believe. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I just think a much more efficient system should be implimented, or have someone worry about uploads that doesn't disappear for months at a time. Someone mentioned earlier that Coco (I think) did an excellent job at uploading stuff.

3 1k hats 1 5k hat and 1 10k mount. only 2 hats are from Cruxis and one from Vintage which I hate Aimee because she made Coco give it to me after I ditch right before they hit 1k because I only helped becuase I semi respect them.

I agree, I'm not sure who takes care of 1k hat submissions but they take too long to be reviewed compared to when Coco did it

Coco used to upload a dozen quickly, when I achieved 1k with my guild, I submit it and within 4 days it was uploaded. Also 4 other guilds (forgot their names) were also added too

Hat chasers are those who have to hold towers and endless amounts of alliances. It was sad to actually be an ally of yours AND watch petty crap go down at Destiny. You bring shame upon the 1k hat title.

We didn't even have alliances, lol. And the only people that really lagged were Zax and someone else. We weren't a "drama filled guild", you started arguments every time you joined, and hit flag on Delight tag (even though I kicked you well over a dozen times, someone kept tagging you).

I submitted Blood Lust's hat on October 13, and it was distrubuted November 13 (or 14) along with Age Of War (submitted around same time as Blood Lust), Helios (submitted some time after the other 2), and maybe one or two more.

Maybe they upload them once a month? Or wait until a certain number are shbmitted? Both of these are really dumb so hopefully I'm wrong.

I'd assume submissions are checked at a certain period of time, not on a daily bases or anything like that.

Once a week would be great, even 2 isn't bad.

But a month?? Ehhhhh...

Lmao I remember Cher in that guild, brought endless hours of entertainment and drama everywhere she went by being a nuisance.

They are checked on that basis, they just dont respond upon checking the process until you get a response is longer. I provided guild info, details of roster(names of people receiving it) and a screenshot of the roster.
The more you include the quicker they tend to do the process since they dont have to look for anything.

From my experience they dont notify you that they've received. They only tell you it been approved and that it has been uploaded.

In case you are still emailing using the support email, make sure to use [email protected] instead. Also, constantly changing leadership looks fishy, I would suggest sticking to one guild leader.

Apparently our 1k hat got knocked back again (which is good this time because the hat was terrible) because it looked bad, been waiting 7 months for the hat now!

I'm not sure what you're implying by "looks fishy", nor do I know if you're even referring to me. But if you are, the reason I gave my guild to Jae is because I didn't have the patience to be part of the whole hat making and submitting process. Oh, and I also didn't recieve the hat on my "main" account, I gave it to an account that already owned a guild. So I couldn't have owned it myself.

Vanguard hat took a day. Not even joking.

That's likely because xor decided to check the emails for the month on this day. Hopefully it was because of this thread, but who knows! I'm just glad to have ie 1k now.

Funny how desperate a guild can be when they pretended to be so professional and proclaiming "not hat chasing" but just "guild family fun". Hue hue

You might as well get something out of it. Don't act like you wouldn't do it yourself if given the opportunity or putting in the effort.

My recent thing I did was the 10k mount. I got my 50 members ID # and my mount came out a few months ago.. Even with the 5k hat. Just add the list in the email and make it clear the list is the players. Add their in-game name and so on. But even with me most of my members question my action but they do trust me even tho I am a big **** head.

And most guilds say they don't have Ally but they just hold one tower, and take mod on the side. But they won't attack all the other guilds because they are scared to get butthurt by the other guild being butthurt that someone attack them that is as well doing hat monkey things.

I mean I know the system. Everyone does it. Even I did it with CxE. as long as you didn't attack me I wouldn't really attack you unless I was bored and wanted fun even if I lost my tower I knew I could get it back from PKING non stop. It just how towering goes. Look at the top guilds now with hours for week. You will notice they are stuck to one tower and mod sometimes but they never attack the other towers.
