Just send me a contact request and mention you'd like to apply for graphics team. We need players that have intentions in improving iZone. The application is simple, just send me a few pieces of work made by you and answer 2-3 simple questions.

We are just looking for talented graphic artists that have great dedication and a great attitude. And hard work pays off, staff that work hard receive a nice staff payment.

the post should be edited to say show few pieces of work you've done that are space themed, as litrally most gfx people never do that.. and thats theme of server so would need to be done.

He got me to make 1 space theme hat to be shown I can do it. I made 2 and got hired alongside showing all other gfx.

Is there a particular graphics style that zone has? I'm really keen to help Zone improve and push up the player base.

A futuristic look is preferred, but other than that there's no style that needs to be followed.

They have dragons, I don't think they really care about the futuristic theme anymore.

I don't think they have ever truly cared about the futuristic theme - Zone is (and has been) the definition of "anything goes" in terms of theme/style.

In all seriousness, to those who decide to make graphics for zone - have fun and try to improve your artwork while doing so! My biggest piece of advice for the new graphics team is to prepare for most of your art to end up never being used (regardless of quality)��

Ive already argued this on our forums but basically Zone is the future. How do you know what the future holds?

Classic is based off the past. Like dear friends- horses don't breathe fire.

Era is based off modern society. Like dear friends- most cities don't have a pirate ship.

It's not about theme. It's about how it's incorporated.

Zone had Halloween- as someone who hates consistency errors I thought HW was super fun. It fit. Smh.

And if you're going to argue how zone is futuristic; I'd much rather have a debate over how the frickin BOW does more damage than being stabbed with a light sabre.

He wasn't referring to Classic. I don't know where you got that from. I also don't think you know what Classic means. It's not Classic as in older times. It's the Classic Graal, as in Graal the Adventure. Not every server has a theme they stick to.

Staff management is supposed to take ideas from the players to improve their game, the players shouldn't have to fix it themselves.

Plus, staff can have all the ideas that they want for Zone, but nothing usually ever gets done. :rolleyes:

edit: You also seem to be forgetting -- prior to the hiring of this, 13 out of the 20 (including PumaD and I) of the individual posters in this thread have worked for iZone before. There's now 15 if you include Nep and Albie.

Apparently I'm not allowed to copy peoples looks at say everything they say to **** with them. What's the point in being an admin now?

Dressing as plays should be an obvious thing to not do. Players would think that the scrub you've copied is staff.

Basically this, some servers themes aren't as important as others. Servers like Ol' West and Zone have a much stronger theme that really makes the server stand out and without these themes the servers are basically just reskinned Era with a few extras. When you add things like dragons to Zone the server just loses the futuristic feel and just ruins whatever immersion the game had. I don't know about you but I've never played a sc-fi game set in the future with dragons in it, there's a reason.

Zone doesn't have immersion.

I think it had some, to an extent anyway. I mean, you felt like you were in the future while playing and the majority of things up until now (with the exception of fishing and a few other things) have kept to that theme. Dragons completely ruin that and I don't really understand why they were added. At the very least they could have made them robots or something.
