Anyone still do bug catching?
 

I have been playing graal for like a few years now(of course not everyday,sometimes I go off at a few months or such)

Currently still collecting bugs :p

Now I have every bug except

emperor butterfly
small blue butterfly
pillbug
spider

Anyone know how to catch them?

spiders appear at DW when it's Halloween

small blue appears at a certain time around church and onnet etc.
the pillbug in dark caves but I'd say theyre the rarest bug
spider halloween
emperor is random for me

Small Blue and Emperor will just be flying around in random places.
Pillbug I believe have been found in railroads but they are very rare, I have never seen one myself bar one in a house.
Spiders can be caught during Halloween.

They should make new bugs, like ants and such with ant hills on hill areas, would be cool

Spiders spawn between trees, and you need to hit them off web with net, and once they hit the floor you need to catch them fast before they crawl away :)

No, that's incorrect. Spiders no longer spawn. Not even during Halloween. They're gone.

So how long was it when you saw that spider?

All I know for certain is that spiders have not spawned in the game since I returned to Graal in May of 2014. I can't speak for any time before that (because the last time I played before then, the net and bug catching had not yet been released).

I was disappointed because I was expecting to see Spiders during the fall season, or at least around Halloween. But there were none. Fireflies spawned in Onett Forest and Deadwood. But there were no spiders. Threads were made about it. It was never addressed though.

I've only seen spiders in player's houses. It's really disappointing.

Fear not, maybe they will add a new breed of spider every halloween. THIS year they shall create a black widow!

I would like bumblebees to get a new kind of apearence. While them in bushes does make sense, I would also like to add a beehive mechanic where it would be in a tree and you could hit the tree for a bee to pop out trying to sting you. This beehive mechanic should act like any other bugs and spawn in certain places/ spawn randomly.

Wasps.

Ooo I was thinking about wasps, but I couldn't really think of anything creative for them. Maybe they can fly on a figure 8? Lol

Catching bugs is so hard for me, I don't know why. I'd rather loot even if its less gralat, its less discouraging.

Youll get used to it trust me. The mantis are easy, dont rush them, line up your net and its an ez catch. Sometimes the mantis are on a bush thats almost impossible to line up with, but you can still keep a near by bush, use your net, and force the mantis to change to that bush. Bees are a different story, they give alot of gralats, but its hard to catch them on the left right or bottom, its easier for most to line the bee up to catch them from the top. Grasshoppers piss me off nuff said but they are still catchable. Butterflies, you need acuraccy.
