I'm really new to MOBA games (always thought they were nerdy, no offense to anyone who plays them) but I thought I would give it a shot before with an ios MOBA called Fates Forever. This changed my perspective completely on MOBA games - it was so much fun. I stopped playing in the end and got VainGlory 2 days ago (another ios MOBA) and omg it is so addicting

Anyone else play VainGlory? If not, I highly suggest it - free to download and play with no pay2win holdbacks, IAPs are only for heroes or hero skins which both can be earned by playing lots of games

Vainglory is pretty fun. Only thing I don't like about these type of games it that matches take forever to complete and I hate when a team member leaves the match leaving you and your other partner pretty much ****ed.

Yep. And the minimal satisfaction you get downvoting them after the game as as the biggest **** you - you can give

Lately, I've been bored of the game though...

Finally unlocked Glaive :O

Had to grind for 2k glory and now I have him, im planning not to buy any IAP's at all but it means grinding like hell Dx

Lmao no need for IAPs, i played it alot and didn't spend a quarter on it because i play as ringo and hes on the rotation alot. The skins does look good but its just for cosmetics.

I just saved up cards to get the Glaive Preshistoric skin tier 1, looks meh :(

Kinda getting boring after unlocking that...not much else to aim for

I think it's because you don't have a competitive team. This game is taking all my time. I am too high too lose what I've done and I know I can achieve more..

what's your main hero? also what are your best builds?

I main every hero really. It's required for tournaments such as VMS. But I like Ringo very much as laner, Ardan as support/jungler and Krul as jungle (he's coming back in meta due to turrets shield and games that last longer than before. He can get his full build and wreck teams if well played.)

For builds, you can go on vaingloryfire. But the best is to create your own build.

Bumping this because a new update was released today for game balancing/service improvement and a new hero was released.

Really recommend you guys start playing Vainglory if you haven't, I've been spending a lot of my free time this last week playing and having a blast :)

I used to play this on and off with my friend but quit about the time Ardan came out. Is it worth getting back into? I am still kinda new to MOBAs with this being the first and only one I really played. Should I give it another shot? If I do, you guys have to play with me. It's always more fun with friends but I really am not that good lol.

I've had you added, I think the reason we haven't been able to play a game together is the time zone difference (you're in Australia, yeah?) - I'm staying up later and later recently, may be able to squeeze in a few games next time we're both on and free :)

There are EU tournaments for Vainglory, so there's got to be some players :p
