I'm sorry but even now on no special occasions the player count always gets near or over 4k , at this time for a player like me ( in England idk about us ) this game is really no where near enjoyable , in pretty sure it's the servers fault and not my internets but just in case I will leave my speed check results down below

However if it's not me this is becoming more and more frequent , we now reach 4k on no special occasions so imagine what it will be like when gst comes by ?
I remember rufus mentioning something about server updates that were meant to happen before but I never heard of that again so can someone confirm if we are getting them at all or not ?

Also sorry I know there's a bunch of lag complaint threads but I really want some answers as the game becomes not enjoyable for me more frequently

Of course you will have problems with that cheapo internet.

I usually have 100Mb/s +/- Up AND Down with about 15 ping at max.

I play less than 20 minutes a day.
I also live in England and graal is unplayable with this lag. You're not the only one, most of my friends are getting lag too. But at the end of the day no matter how much it affects the community it wont be changed. It's been this way for a while and it doesn't look like it'll be changed now.

I'm sure graal makes enough money to upgrade the server , I would not care if they even had to place adds on the free version to make more money because I really used to enjoy the game a lot more when it wasn't this laggy for me

Yeah today the lag is more than terrible.

You can still do things, it's just that you can't do them well.

You have to use nets early to catch a bug... you literally have to predict where the bug will go, so you can catch a bug... delaying bugs...

3 people fighting in the arena today, none were lagging from a match before. Just so laggy that 3 spawned in.

I do not understand why we have not had server updates yet , as clearly need them

The fact that I just did a gs match , and everyone there had to die 3 times for the match to end says a lot , wish I got that on video tbh

Unixmad is too busy to care about the game that is literally the only reason he gets the money to live from, the only reason he would do something about the servers is when he wouldnt get money from graal anymore.
But AYYYY do something else in the meantime, complaining about it on the forums that he never checks aint gonna help any of us amirite or amirite

I think it's stupid to fix the servers after a ddos attack and not even upgrade them.

That just shows that we all have to do something about it together .... Also I do occasionally see his account online on graal

Im pretty sure "we" as Players (or as potential costumers as unixmad likes to say aCHEM) cant do anything than talk about it really.
I mean yeaaah you could ddos the Servers for lets say a week straight and unixmad might think about upgrading them, bcuz with what would he be able to buy his bread if its not with our Money (im so sry) but after all its illegal and you can get 15 years in jail or more for that stuff so.
Yeah I dont think hes gonna do anything IMO since he does not really .. eh make.. you know ...he does not tell the playerbase anything about upgrading it so..

As long as players are playing, as long as players are paying, Toonslab (the company that owns Graal; does Stefan even pay attention to Classic anymore?) won't do crap. I have no reason to believe that Toonslab cares about anything other than money, and as long as they're raking it in, and the server remains "stable enough", with a larger playerbase than ever, things will remain as they are. If that playerbase starts to drop, and the money faucet starts to slow down, then you may see them start to act like they care, but as of now, it's all about money for the people on top, and hard work and dedication for the volunteers on the bottom (the people who actually make Classic what it is).

This was one of the reasons why i quit classic for ol west in the beginning of the summer the lag is unbearable somewhat unplayable and this with the guessing where bugs go is prob helping them make even more money b/c if it wasn't hard
Enough to make gralats other then the pyrat quest this lag makes it 20x harder which makes people spend more irl money on the game :P

The server is bassivlu unbearable after 4k players and it always reaches that point nearly every day at some point , especially in the summer. It might will be playable for some USA people by for someone like me, who is not in the USA , it is very hard

So today we reached 4.1k + I got booted out the server and when I try to get back on it says this

showing your speed DOES NOT mean your internet is stable

How do I check if it's stable ? I mean I run every other game I play fine ...
Also the fact that I can't get in the server is probably not because of my internet as I hear a lot of people have the same person

It crashed from 4.1k-4.2k .... The whole server crashed and we get close to this number nearly every day with no special occasion

Had nothing to do with playercount.

I just assumed it had since it was barely playable already with 4.1k so I took an assumption that it did , so what caused it ? Also still need these server updates tho

Your speedtest speeds aren't going to be the same at all on Graal.

I know because the server isn't close to England so speeds will change , but I know for a fact at one point I played this game with minimal 80-100 ms and barely seen lag .... In the past 2-3 years that has changed a lot to the point where it's not fun anymore , another thing is the freezing x.x I tried to redownload the app but it does not fix much
