Messages telling us to take towers
 

There have been certain messages appearing at the bottom of the screen telling everyone to take certain towers as if there is a reward for doing so.
Could this be a way that the admins are trying to increase competitiveness by saying what towers to take :0?

I mean honestly the competition has been very low at the towers and it's saddening to see a guild just have to sit and afk to hold a tower and get their hours.

Which most guilds don't mind :( Ya I saw the message then went to sardons and lag city/after like 4mins everyone warped lmao, so I don't really know what it was about.

Also why were these messages sent? Testing towers or something? 'Cause Deadwood's spawn changed after people attacked it.

I guess guild rivalry is not dead

That was not "guild rivalry" nor was it promoting "competition." It was just a spontaneous "Hey everyone who sees this, go pk this one spot because Im Xor and I said so." Lasted about 5minutes. Enough time to make server scripts freeze solid for a good minute.

Also they're prpbably testing something, maybe in the future we will see stuff like '(Guild) lost (tower) to (guild)!'

The messages should stop. Sure they encourage more tower activity but it creates massive lag. Say the towers inc x destiny message. Not only did it cause in destiny, but it caused lag in other areas like houses. And with the condition the server is in right not, the last thing we need is 2000+ players in one tower. -_-
