Freezing solutions?
 

It seems like we aren't getting a fix to the annoying screen freezes I get every 10 seconds, so does anyone have any solutions that make it stop for a little while or occur less frequently?

Im pretty sure the freezing is caused by your device, so just delete and re-install graal. It should stop the freezing.

I thought I remember deleting before and it didn't help. Just tried it and it hasn't seemed to happen yet, thanks!

It gets to where you have to redownload the app every month.

I used to use my ipad 2 for graal and i would freeze every 7-12 seconds

My air 2.... almost never. If I do, it's the server.

^ Yep. I play on iPhone 6 and freezing starts after I reinstall when I go through my hat inventory.

Reintall the app every week :)

I reinstalled a while ago (a month+) and I haven't had any more freeze frames. Even on my ****ty tablet.

You probably need a new device and/or a new router. My phone (new iphone) has not froze once, but my ipad (old ipad) freezes every 10 seconds.

Get a Gaming Computer worth 700$ for Graal.

My old 2nd generation ipad froze a lot since 2015. My new ipad air 2 randomly gets disconnected from the game every once in awhile.

Getting here a bit late but after reading the OP I'd bet my whole savings that someone made a quit graal joke or something

The only solution I can think of is if someone modified the Graal app, made it better and released it to the public

I hate this freeze thing so much, its why I never spar, cause I get a free shot when I'm frozen, its annoying with PKing to. Why is it happening? It doesn't freeze on PC and only on Graal, not in any other apps or me. Put this at the top of your bug list and fix it now.

App overload?

I doubt it Ashy-boy ;), I only have 2 games on this crappy tablet and it freezes a lot. But, weird thing is, it doesn't freeze whenever there aren't many players on. :/

As I mentioned before, deleting and reinstalling helps with freeze.

I can't do that, if I delete and reinstall I can't get back into my account because I no longer have access to my email.

You can email toonslab for an email change. I can't remember what I said in mine but as long as you prove it's your account they can change the email.

Apple > Android. I've never owned one lol. A lot of my android friends have mentioned that they've been freezing.

If you have this problem, do you mind going into your options and disabling animations and letting me know if it helps at all?

Turning it off just causes the freezing to be farther apart then usual but it does still freeze.I guess if that counts as "helping" then yes. :E

Sorry for necro, but I truly believe the source of the issues with constant freezing is the amount of customs in the app's files. Hence why reinstalling actually helps. Why? The app is not there, so all those really trashy customs that are in the app's files are no longer there. It's really a simple fix, but it shouldn't be nessesary to do. I have over 6,000 head files on my iPad Mini 1. Yeah, that sucker freezes a lot.

Well customs have always been here since 2011, while the freezing started showing up around Spring/Summer of 2014. Not sure how customs could affect it that much.

It's actually the amount of them that is worrying. I have tested this myself. Once I delete my app and reinstall it's fine but sit there and afk for 10 hrs and you'll have a lot of customs getting put onto your device. The app doesn't put customs on the device until that custom is on your screen (or something similar to that). But this is nothing but a theory of my own. This is not the cause of server lag and most of us should know what it is. But the constant freezing in general could be caused by: Downloading customs as they appear on-screen or just having a massive amount.

Have you tried defrosting it?
