What do you do in Ol West?
 

So recently ive become pretty bored... to me atleast it doesnt seem like theres anything to work for in the game currently. Some people may get where im coming from as i have an abundance of hs and nothing to spend them on without wasting them so i stopped trying to do events. Another reason i have come to this conclusion is i also have alot of Gralats and cant use those either :/

I honestly feel like there needs to be more rewards in the game for sparring, basing, winning events, etc and more weapons and guns to buy to make the game a bit more fresh. I would also like to see some features done right in other graal games such as auctions and bot events brought over to ol west.

If you guys agree or disagree feel free to share your opinions and if you dont agree and actually have things you do on ol west that make it fresh or exciting for you please share them :)

totally agree about auctions and bot events. but 1 thing to do thats time consuming is pick any skill then try to get level 100 to recive the prize and bragging rights :).

idk that is alot of time used up in order to recieve a prize that you know nothing about

Last time I checked we decided we aren't bringing auctions to ol west, but that could change any day. (Not saying it will... )

Content is always being worked on. We just space it all out so we don't release so many things at the same time and overwhelm everyone with it.

I do agree with you on the automated events. I've been trying to get this added since day one, but it seems we have our hands full with a few other things. Eventually this will be added.

I don't think anyone has earned all of the spar/PK rewards yet, so you can still work for those. Although the player count may be your only problem in that situation so only time may tell. (Also plan on updating the 50k PK mask very soon, so send me some ideas, references, etc.)

The thing I want to release is some overworld events.
Basically means that there's an NPC message saying something is happening on the gmap and all the players will get involved for some type of reward (gralats, HS, that type of stuff.)

Maybe we can add some hours rewards as well? Gain a certain amount of hours and go claim your reward. Of course this would most likely promote AFKing but thats something that has always happened. This wouldn't be very hard to make either, just need ideas on the reward. It wouldn't be a weapon or anything, maybe a hat? Some type of toy?

-Earn Gralats
-Gain Levels in most of the Jobs.
Etc. I always think theres quite a lot to do, and I barely ever get bored, although to be honest Basing can get really boring..

Yeah. I think we need more event items though. I have seen admins with a staff that shoots some type of red bullets. Its a red staff similar like those from era. I think this could be added fast since its already made, maybe just change the stats cause it shoots extremely fast. Even if it was one item, it will be good to have a goal for another hs item. As for pking, i think you should add forts on this server. I really liked forting on era! I used to have a succesful forting gang till i stopped though. But if this was on west, it would be somewhere people can go to pk and earn prizes!

Yeah I agree. The red staff is a fire staff. We try to stay away from using things that other servers already have (such as the forts), but that's ironic because our map is almost identical! (Omg!) I want that changed as well.

On topic: I usually chat with players or go fishing/mining.

Oh. Well you should add the fire staff.. Like today ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) hehe. Just something to hold us back for a while. I do not think the hs shop will be getting new items anytime soon. Or add healing to our hs staffs? Maybe make healing be a perk to buy for 20hs? Idk just ideas. But the fire staff. Yes?

But i thought the theme was graal era city back in time so wouldnt the map be pretty simalar?

I like pking and and getting streaks....except for days like today where I get 49 kills and than die....so I do t get my streak... ;)
I also like basing with my gang. And you realize there are prizes for player-killing at the spar arena, and there are gang points for basing.

Yea i know there are pk hats but their not really all that desirable to me seeing as i would have to spend alot of extra time killing our player base which isnt as big as a server like era is so it makes it a bit more time consuming. I have enough gang points aswell besides mostlikely eveything in the gp shop will probably worse than what i have already.

One of the good things about a low player count is that when you actually do obtain those hats, people will be like "whoa wtf he got the 100/150k pk hat!" Since it takes time to get PKs right now.

Ol west, Ol west, Ol west, a veryyyy, veryyyy, fun at moments/boring at moments/become very angry moments game. But overall, staff needs to release something that will keep us playing longer, and that doesn't involve skills (like mining, fishing, woodcutting) and all that boring stuff that was fun for 3 days.

We need Gp shop to be opened

And Make other ways to gain good items besides winning events
All the best items are gained through events, atleast make hs tradeable

I catch bugs, plant seeds, cut trees, etc. Thats why I barely log on. I find it boring most of the time.

I have started basing since like 4 days ago and it's quite fun if you have a nice gang of people (friends) :D

Basing is great if you get along with the right people. Just don't kiss people's ass and don't join a gang that'll just use you and where nobody gets along

I usually attack bases by myself. I like the attention when everyone attacks me at the same time. :P Defending bases with a guild is pretty boring, no one ever attacks. Leveling up jobs can get boring so I reccomend talking with the people near you or your friends to pass the time. Socializing in general is the main thing that makes the game fun.

Yeah, I don't think it has to be something big as you don't need skill or anything, so just maybe a different toy everytime you reach the next hour goal. Eg.
10 hours- a emoticon with the classic 'noob' head.
500 hours- bounce ball with 500 on it
Etc.. Etc..

I dont think horseshoes should be tradeable but i do think event meles should be tradeable but not the guns... Or atleast otherways to obtain horseshoes.
