So my girlfriend and I met on Graal and have known each other irl ever since, we've been together for 17 (21-12-13, 17 months yesterday) months pretty neat :) hehe.
Is this weird? my parents say its kinda awkward to talk about and I agree with them, but I love her so I don't really care for others opinions on us.

Latte and I have been in an LDR for about 2 years, we meet up every month or so. I've also hung out with a few other Graalians, here's me, latte, and zoologist (im the tall guy) :D Don't let anyone tell you its weird or isn't cool because there are some amazing people in this community, and I firmly believe that you will miss out a lot by not meeting them.

Damn that's pretty cool I've always wondered if I'll ever meet some people from Graal, my old guild Ximtra we all still talk on whatsapp and we've talked about meeting up and stuff. We're mainly a Dutch guild with one German and two Brits haha.

But like nobody from Graal lives in the UK yes there's been people I've met from the UK but they're quite a distance away.

I've met 2 people from Graal IRL, neither instance was nearly as awkward as I had imagined it'd be, A+ 10/10

I've only had one edgy encounter with meeting Graalians IRL for the most part it's always fun

I pretty much live in the central area that most Canadian players live in meaning they are between 2-6 hours away so it's really easy to meet up same with American friends only real hassle is the far away ones like Germany

Well there's no one in New York or close-by to meet. Everyone I know in Graal are from the West of the U.S. or out of the country.

I wish I could have the same experience in meeting other Graal players as you had in real life. I live in Northern ******ia, so I live in a difficult area to meet other players. I know some players that live close by, for instance, Dude1310 lives in Fairfax, but I'm pretty sure he's inactive now :/.

If any Graalian lives in, or near Loudoun County ******ia, I'd love to know who you are! It's in Northern ******ia. I'd really like to meet some of you all :).

Going on a road trip in a year or so with my closest graal friends even though we live in different continents.
If they're your friend, it doesn't matter if you met them on the internet.
Friends should see each other and spend time with one another in real life, it helps build a healthy friendship.

It's not weird at all. Dusty and I met through graal and have met up a lot in the 8 months we've been together. Used to only meet up once a month-ish, but since the beginning of this year I've been with him irl more than I have my actual house heh.

I'm actually at his house right now sitting next to him whilst I type this lol.

It would be weird at firsthand when you think about it but If you think less of the negative things and more of the positive, then its normal. Its part of life to meet new people or the faces of the people you have been playing together with for a long while. I havent met anyone here irl yet since I am too far away from anyone but I skype with them. Hope for the best to you OG and your girlfriend and to everyone else here who were to do the same.

I meet people all the time from the internet, at the gym, sitting at a coffee shop, anywhere and everywhere people will come up to me and talk to me. You just have to be chill. Don't over analyze situations and take it one step at a time. However, if you're a girl, don't meet up with any new person alone. Always be careful and cautious
