Hello everyone. I found some old GST pictures and list of GST I was in. I thought it would be cool to share with everyone since I am no longer participating any future GSTs. I'm officially retired as a GST player, but I will always cheer for my best friends Jamie, Cookie and Kelsie.

My GST records

I don't know my record, but I lost all of them. Farthest I made it was semifinals vs alumni. I lost to the eventual champion 6 times in a row. US and Mother mix teams and Klassy.

Most exciting GST I had was with SiB in like 2012. We vsed Klassy in semis and in the 3rd round (so it was 1-1) it ended in a 1vs1. I think in the past year and a half Alumni mixed team has ended me every time.

Let'see:
only 1 GST with Earthian...lost to Hazard in the 2nd round.But i did tied a 1vs4 vs Ketopia somehow.Lol

Other than that...i tried to enter the last GST but couldn't.

The guild I was in made it past round 1... Then got swept

3 GSTs:

Done it with Hazard twice in our first attempt we made it to Semi Finals but unfortunately lost to Alumni.
In Hazards second attempt we lost to Apostles in the quarter finals.

For the last GST I done it with SDE and we made it to the Quarter Finals before we lost to Alumni.

I'm in White Tulip.
Never won, but there's no harm in trying :)

A couple lower finishes when GST first came to classic, don't remember the specifics.

The only things that I've found to be meaningful for myself were:

• Helping US win their last GST
• Full-year Mixed sweep
• Getting a Mixed/iDevice win in the same season with Alumni
• Helping both the Mixed and iDevice players with the most respective GST wins reach their goal

The only other significant thing to me would be to win 12 total with Alumni

Best scenario overall for me would be for Alumni Mixed to go undefeated until I can retire the guild at 12, but that's probably a big stretch unless I decide to put together another iDevice team

Well you have Junior, Haze, Aqua and Cookie already in Alumni...

Haze, Junior, and Vlad are very inactive, I believe Cookie prefers to do friendly GSTs with Kelsie and others, Acqua is not in the guild, and I think the only iDevice I'd even consider trying to recruit is Fro, so it's 90% a no-go

I kinda refuse to just recruit people for sake of the GST anyway, so I'm okay with sitting it out until something works out

Alumni isn't undefeated. They haven't won every time they entered. 12 is the magic number because that's the number of wins US has (or 1 more I can't remember).

No recollection of when and where my team and I were placed when GST was made but heres a few. Prepare for a long but shortened story that provides the story behind it.

First team was w/ Memento Mori but couldnt make it but they never needed me anyway, ended up reaching 1st place. Second GST I joined again or its subguild with Acqua and some names I forgot. Lasted 3 rounds with just 3 of us sparring.

Joined 3-4 friend gs team for the items. After that, I decided to make a team since I'm better off as a strategist than a sparrer for now.
Early teams consists of just 1-2 friends I knew and rest are all randoms.
Stopped doing random tryouts because I had ppl that was a core but midway of GST had reasons to leave like they had to go to the mall, or too tired, etc. etc. I'm waking up at 4AM for this and their excuses were unbelievable. Mostly winning just 3 matches and few times quarter finals.
Summer GST 2012, I finally had a team of all friends with good Spar IQ(Kyo, Voodoo, Chii, Matt) and 2 subs but they left last minute for another team. We ended 2nd Place.
Everyone except Chii quit so we made a team together and had the dreaded tryouts again. Had to ask a select friends to join my team every gst, asked twilit, Acqua, Glenn, Devi to join but forgot which GST we were formed for. We would only reach quarters and sometimes semifinals.
By Spring GST 2013, I was already familiar with Alpha Centauri, Slend and buu7maid since they joined my team prior to this GST, including Chii. We just needed a 4th core member and that's were Chii suggested Cookie who I wasn't acquainted yet at the time. Was too late to find last sub, so we just went in as 6. Reached 1st place
Summer GST 2013, gonna be honest I overslept and lost to Everyone. My team did OK but lacked my guidance as Captain.. have so much regret for it I vowed not to sleep til GST ends. I forgot the roster for the team but I think had Chii, Matt, David M. and Cookie. Subs Unknown.
Fall GST 2013, Chii quit but still had a team prepared ahead of time. Had Voodoo, Cookie, Max, Jet locked in. Cookie suggested Fro whom I'm not acquainted with, and Soyi (or Megan) who was suggested by both Fro and Cookie, who was shy to ask me so I asked her myself. We placed 1st.
After that, I got stuck with a super busy schedule which I prevents me from participating in any GST's for awhile.
Unknown GST date, I joined Acqua's team "The R0ller" as a sub because I was still busy with school. We lost to Nessa unknown placement.
Hoping to increase this record in the future!

Just out of curiosity does anyone know how the bracket formula works for mixed? Which numbers will be in same bracket?

I had always thought it looked like this:

But I've heard some other theories so I'm not entirely sure.

I heard Dante knows it but Idk I think I saw a GST where 2nd and 3rd faced each other before SFs

So if you go against Alumni for example in the first round, you're screwed?

If you go against Alumni in any round you're screwed. Of course unless you're WAR and Blackout.

Then you're only half-screwed.

Out of experience I can tell Gabe is a great leader. I believe he was the first leader to show that a well organised team beats an unorganized team no matter how good.

Unfortunately that was unlucky day for us. My team lost to Everyone too. We won the first round against everyone, then Alexus was frozen for the next two matches. I was very immature and was mad at her for like a month. XD Sorry Alexus <3 But we're still a good friend.

I wasn't being shy, I just struggled hard. Dae suggested me to make an idevice GST for Deity, but we were too late for that. I was kept asked by The R0ller GST, but I was little disappointed with their overall performance. Max randomly came up to me one day and offered me a core spot for PiNoY. I joined and we hassled a little. Fro was disappointed that Slend couldn't join him because of me.


If there are times in GST that I regret hard about my past were when we lost to 5pa4. We totally had them on the wall, they absolutely had no where to go, but Memo some how managed to push out of the trap diagonally and we were attacked from the two direction.

Another time was when I left VIS to help Prince's GST. I had no problem leaving VIS, VIS had almost 20 great sparrers waiting for Fro to finalize his team. Under the agreement, I joined Prince's team. At the day of the GST his members didn't show up and we were outnumbered against the enemies. That's when I realized that I made a bad decision. I should've just stayed and get another free win. :p Just kidding, it was fun to know more people from other GSTs. I call it unfortunate, they had a busy schedule during that time. I won't blame them.

Oh and you also asked me to join your team a lot. xD

Dang you have good memory Megan.. Max suggested you and Cookie agreed. Then Cookie suggested Fro and I couldnt put Slend in since I chose you already. I could have picked Voodoo and Slend over you since they were both my friends and you were a new face to me but instead I chose you because you were already comfortable practicing with us, have a nice attitude overall and felt that you would do real good based on your GS performance and thought that you have great spar IQ. Im not one to kick out a person to put in another, But some people say I do that but they really left my team to join an even better team but anyways dont feel bad about what happened before. In the end, you were one of the reasons why we won that GST. One of my good decisions on convincing you to join my team since not only did we win together but I gained a new friend. And nope, I do remember you were real shy as you are now lol

Pinoy GST=Still a better love story than twilight.

I was one place away from getting INTO the gst with Sir and Toich back when we were newbies. It was right when the archery place came out and the guild was named Archers. Good times.

I did my very first gst when I was a with Vaazk and some other people early 2013, we lost in the 2nd round to Hooters.

2nd gst, I did with (illegals) Julia (LiA05) got me on the team last minute (Friday night) and we got to semi's losing to Legends.

3rd gst was with Mi5e, we did that gst for fun, i don't remember who we lost to though.

4th gst was with vDragz, I sparred the first 2 rounds and then 3rd round I asked to be subbed out since I was banned and our opponents knew that so I didn't want them reporting to the admin. We placed 3rd and got a hat.

5th gst was with Rebellious, great team, great people. We lost to OO7 because I rushed at their delay smh

To conclude, I lost every gst I've been in.

Got fourth place with my friends I do every GST with and was proud we finally got past round 2 or 3.
I think I've participated in 5 GST's, 3 with (Mother) and 2 with (VIS).

been doing gst with GTEAM with mostly the same roster since the beginning, we didn't do quite good except we won 2nd place in winter 2014 gst

makes me wonder what single guild lost the most, Apostles/WAR or SiB

I've had a really interesting story imo

- I participated in the first GST with Prodigious, we didn't win anything

- My first hat was a 3rd place hat with Shui, US won that one

- Got recruited in US and won my first GST

- Won 4 more after that with US and got 2nd place 2 times

- When US was done I moved to Alumni with most of the guild, did GST with them and lost near the final rounds

- Did mi5e mixed GST with my bros and got DQed by our own member's irl brother

- Went inactive, came back to GST and had no team, joined Daze's team Espiritu and lost

- Joined Memory and lost 2-3 to Alumni

- Joined Qes' guild (F0LK) and got wrecked

- Joined Rebellious to do GST with friends, lost to OO7

- Stayed with Rebellious for the next GST and won my 5th belt and 9th hat

Is this the GST where we lost in the semis against Legends or whatever, i don't remember

Pretty sure SiB also participated and lost in the first and fourth gst. So yeah, you can definitely say we've had our fair share of losses :D
