Graal: Pay2Win or Play2Win?
 

This is for both PC (Client) and FB/Mobile.

Do you win by having more items? Technically you could have the most tower hours/best spar rating/highest pks without ever spending a dime on the game. I think the proper term is "Pay to fashion." Or maybe "Pay to look better than others and then insult them for not paying to look better than others." The game is definetley play to win in my opinion.

Edit: My post refers to iClassic only im not sure how other playerworlds work.

About 10ish hours (when I was banned on UN) or so I noticed it wasnt on the server list anymore when I checked the server list last, what happened to it?

client is play to win and so is iclassic
iera and ol west are p2w
while zone is a mix since paying does help but you can easily get gralats for playing.

I think play to win servers are better because all players can become good without spending a dime, even if you are not made of money you can win.
Games like era have rich 12 year olds winning with their op weapons and the fact that no job can get you that far in gralats maybe 2k at the most unless you are on for 12 hours a day.

Lol at the posts that say Ol'West is P2W. Far from it. Either you played it in a short time to say its P2W or your just lazy. Ol'West > Era and Zone for getting easy gralats. Not saying Classic cause that is not P2W but rather play 2 win. It's optional to buy gralats in Classic as everyone have the same weapons. The PC servers are also not P2W from what I experienced. (Only played Era PC).

The only thing that gives you an advantage on classic is a horse and special bombs, which you can get from playing.
Everything else is for vanity purposes.

So for me, Classic is Play2Win.
Not sure about any other servers as I don't like to venture outside my comfort zone.

Now Goddess, you know that's a loaded question.

iClassic is neither play or pay to win, since everyone is equipped with the same weapons and no matter how much you play or pay that won't change. Everyone will always be on an equal playing field.

Nothing needs to be said about iEra, pay2win all the way.

iZone is play to win, there are tons of noob accounts with high kills/spar ratios, and you can do very well without spending any gralats; and due to the combat = $$ system you can move up with weapons just through PvP and PvE.

Delteria (iDelteria if its been released yet?) is play2win.

And I have never tried playing Ol West but I have it DL'd and just saw that it was a reskin of iEra, so I'd assume it is also pay2win.

How to you get money in zone? Cause when I played it I need a bunch of graalats to get a class and respectable weaponry.ol west is racist so of course it costs money. Era is about hustling so yeah it costs money e whole thing is a big white culture weabo hustle. Classic no but if you look like a noob or a woman you'll get harrassed a bunch just like the other servers so yeah maywheather or pacqiuo

Most people are against 'pay to win' models for obvious reasons.

But there is nothing really wrong with offering stuff through micro-transactions as long as those things aren't game-breaking.

Only reskin I see is the map (which is going to be changed soon), but OW Pay2win? Nahh.

Era PC doesn't have any microtransactions involving the actual currency while iEra does.

As far as I know, Delteria is pretty play 2 win atm since good gear isn't exactly bought from shops and stuff but dropped from bosses.

Kill all the noobs, have cat ear custume, and cat smiley face head and bunny slipper bodies and 1000+ hours and you win

Play to lose more like.

1. by playing this game you are exposed to lagswitch abusers / trolls
2. by playing this game you are harassed or hunted for your entire graal life.

in the end you're losing because you play graal.

Technically era pc does have microtransactions, but it is an indirect method and takes more effort than just buying packs.
Though most won't admit it, alot of the older era pc players with lots of money probably got most of it from buying gelats and using them to buy those boost potions off the graal shop and then selling them ingame to players for gralats.

client servers are pretty irrelevant
iEra is obviously pay2win
iClassic is obviously not

it depends on the server. yeah you play 4 servers on iDevices and the rest on Graal but @Goddess you are obsessed with Graal.exe. It's not that great. The playerbase is missing which makes it boring. Don't try to make it seem like Graal+s and Graal.exe are two different things- their just clients. There's a whole lot of other servers.

It's both "technically" and "practically". Because PR's, I believe, how powers to actually spawn items. Player practically USD for them to spawn the items the player wants.

How I put the whole "Pay2Win" is basically "Pay2WinYourAssToBeAbleToPlayThisGame".
Basically "Pay2Play" I prefer that phrase. I don't use that overly used phrase that most of these newly forum users use but don't know a true meaning to it. (I.e. Goddess).

why are you stalking all my posts? and the true meaning to 'pay2win' doesn't refer to actually 'winning the game', but meeting the most socially cliche objectives in that game.

iOS is literally Pay2Win because you buy money. PC is Play2Win as you can't really buy much aside from convience things like quicker mining or an instrument.

You don't really know the definition of pay2win. It has nothing to do with whether you can buy in-game currency, but whether you are at a disadvantage if you don't.
