They currently have finished 2 and are on their 3rd. His plan is to do 5 1K's and then take BFM to 10K. All I have to say is R.I.P to the players who will waste their eye sights and brain cells for a hat that won't live to its potential.

I don't see what's the problem with how they got their job done. They RECRUITED players whether they be noobs or not. Not like I'll have 1k friends to recruit to my guild over and over, right?

The 'Golden Age' of towering has long been dead anyways. The reason why guilds can just noob recruit and win is because of 1.) The lack of competition anywhere, stemming from other guilds with similar roster values, as well as the stupid truces guilds make to rotate out holding sards to 1k. 2.) The way the system works, which encourages noob recruiting.

There used to be more active tower guilds than there were towers, and this era is gone. VG, CoM, Project Soul, NaL, MENSO, etc. all used to compete for various towers. Not anymore.

The fact that there are guilds that continually noob recruit to 1k is to be expected at this point. For those who don't like it, I suggest finding all of your pro buds and starting a lot of tower guilds to get some CPR done on this dead aspect of the game.

Um.. SoN was not really a guild. It was a leader who sexually influenced those around her with temptation and made them all feel like they had a special relationship with her. She had her like 5 main boy bitches and then everyone else was just spammed with tags whenever they stepped within 15 tiles of the Castle.

It was just random people coming and going.

They had a little issue controlling their internet sexual desires I presume

By speed hacking. They did. Wittnessed it on multiple occasions. They were a disgrace to guilds and I'd be happy if the guild got reset even now.

I still have an unexplained clip of SoN towering, watch this video and skip to 8:32. It's 100% raw footage, I don't think was my lag. I take castle with SLX for fun, but never had that happen vs any other towering guilds.

Also one of SoN member was invincible when people used to pk in the bridge and stuff.

It didn't lag when we took over the flag.

The only difference between BFM and every other tower guild since 2012 is they only change the last word of their guild name.

I feel bad for those leads and members who helped SoN 1k to 13k hours for nothing.
Heartless kate just kicked anybody that wasn't active and this was cycling until she got inactive.
At least BFM is giving out some hats to active ones.

I would rather have a guild that goes beyond 1k then have series of guilds designed for multiple 1ks.

I prefer to just do one even though I've done four because it's very time consuming and can distract you from doing other things. It's bad enough players are losing their eye vision and can't do well in school. This also applies if a guild plans on going beyond 1K.

I'm pretty sure everyone in SON knew they were towering for the fun of it and not to be hat chasers, so they are called.

I can't compare BFM to SoN because I've never been on their tag. I do know that they are usually on top of the daily guild hour leaderboards so they've worked harder than SoN before they finished.
That makes 0 sense. 1k hats are a reward for towering and receiving one takes all the fun out of towers?

Well yea the hat is a reward, but when people make so many guilds and only go to 1k that really isnt towering for the fun of it, it's just for the hat.

They only have 1k hat, that's why I said 1k-13k. they never got 5k hat and 10k mount. i knew a lead, he said kate is gonna pick 10k mount & 5k hat soon, but she never did and he quit helping SoN. Basically he wasted 3k+ hours on them.

She's giving it to herself and 11 other Kate Newbie accounts and Aidan and his 11 newbie accounts. Luckily the hat maker will get one :)

So joining 5 1k guilds isn't equivelant to joining a 5k guild? Sorry but whoever told you that was probably jealous of the people busting through guilds faster than he was.
The person towering decides whether it's fun, not you. I feel bad for you for limiting yourself from enjoying towering to the fullest just because of made up excuses.

You have no idea what you are talking about, and you have never experienced guilds how they were, or how they will ever be again. You have simply experienced a refined milking system. Long be the day guilds were something people were actually proud to wear the tag of.

Everybody has different enjoyment in this game. tbh doesn't matter if you do 5 1ks or if you do 10ks, whatever makes u happy should do.

For SoN members, I am pretty sure they were expecting to get a mount AND a hat, cause that's what a lead friend told me long time ago. That she was accepting graphics from people. They kept on after 10k because they thought she was making a list for 10k mount and she kept kicking inactive ones from the sub. Mostly a cycle of noobs.
If SoN MEMBERS(excluding Kate) really did it for FUN (Which is not. clearly), I think Kate should've made a separate tag to memorialize loyal members with her gratitude. So I will conclude my thought with SoN abused noobs.

For BFM, I think they are playing smart, they know 1k = 25 custom hats, rather than 5k = 50 custom hats. That's a smart choice. People are calling them a 'Hat chaser'. If that's a thing, I would call most of you a 'gralat cheater', cause I earned ALL of my gralats (including my gh, house, slot bought all of them from FB version with gralats) using pyrat quest, bug catching, loot hunting while most of you got your gralats from purchased them with real life money.

I doubt she constantly told everyone it was for fun otherwise the leads expecting the "mounts" as zetetic earlier said would have probably never carried on. I think it's just pathetic because it's not like she'll be using all accounts in fact she'll probably never log on some after it gets the rewards.

No one here joined at the last second, infact people worked then realized how she was lying about most of everything so everyone abandoned her. Although she may have said that yes or no, she still made up lies to keep everyone there just to look good and now she wants to reward herself & her poser bf
