How To unrust for the winter 2015 gst

Im not sur if my curent team is going for the gst and even so I need to improve my spar anybody know how I can improve myself im a lil bit rusty.

Device
:

A ipad 2 (uses no controlers i use the regular graal arrow keys)

Anybody here willing to train me for this so I can spar better?

Help would be really apreciated

Well for starters, you should spar a lot in the mixed tournament room.

You can't really type a how-to-spar guide for someone and get good results, sparring is just practicing and finding a technique that works for you, physically doing it will always have a bigger benefit than reading about it.

What guild are you in? When I am on we can spar at my guildhouse for a bit so you can experiment with different techniques.

I agree with what colin said.

you will start feeling it after getting a 1000 wins from facing good ones.

i will NOT
Boost, use vpn or any of that crap

Spar in mixed room only if you want to actually improve. Every other room is just a boosting room practically and almost impossible to lose in (You won't get better in them). Keep sparring people you lose to, and actually change stuff/patterns/predictions each spar against them.

The best way to improve is to fight the best(spar/pk/towering applies to all really). if you fight the best you're going to lose a lot until you adapt, so this might be a problem if you don't want to ruin your stats. So my best advice is to get a practice spar account and spar a lot.

unrust for the GST by sparring actively on weekends, because the ping you'll get over the weekend is probably the closest to what you can expect to get during the GST
don't practice for any more than a few hours per day, because GST practice is pretty overrated in relation to what it actually does for you and it's not worth wearing yourself out over

Still spar in mixed room. Most of the good idevice players can be found here anyways, not in the idev only room. And like what has already been said, you have to practice vs. the best to improve the most.

Sardon 02-06-2015 03:16 PM

lines way too long in mixed and some good sparers enter the idev room sometimes if they dont want to wait too long.

Not all the times...
The Queue in Mixed is not that long...around 7-8 maximum...
Just spar at Mixed and Lose...I spar peeps like B**tt,K***n mostly..and lose 90% of the matches but at the end of the day... i give them a hard time...(that's wht i think lol)

Bryan* 02-07-2015 05:05 PM

If you beat em, it'll boost your confidence up and you'll continue to spar. The other day I was facing tough opponents but I was able to pick up a win and learn from them because I kept facing them for a lot of my matches. The key is to not give up and practice. Good luck!

Neil 02-07-2015 11:05 PM

If you spar with the best you could be the best.
If you spar with the worst (players from rooms other than the tournament room) then there is a much lower skill cap and you'll never be good.

Sardon 02-08-2015 05:21 AM

starting to think i should switch to pc where i originated from
I use a ipad for spar but recently while i was talkin to folks on the client classic I felt more comfortable on pc
So i might switch after winter gst.
