My hands... Ow...
This is my first day of playing grell on the computer. Does it normally hurt when you first start?
|
wat
|
Maybe I'm pressing the keys too hard. I tend to tense up on iOS.
|
I tend to overheat my phone when I play too much....
|
It's likely just that your hands (the muscles/bones/ligaments/tendons) aren't used to being in that position much, or for extended periods of time. Shouldn't be a problem for long.
|
Nah you'll be fine. I only play on computer (until I get my iPhone 6 plus) for a few hours a day and I am fine.
|
Tilt your keyboard a bit, or practice moving your fingers across the keyboard very quickly to build strength and accuracy in your fingers.
|
This is honestly the first time I've heard Graal be hard on the fingers. iOS Graal puts so much more strain on my hands since I'm gripping a small device with my large hands l0l.
Don't break your keyboard kiddo. |
It always hurts the first time.
|
wuw?
|
ya, but only after I streak 150 spars or PK for 19 hours straight
it hurts so good |

I play on Facebook and I have never had any problems.
|
I remember when I first played Graal on the computer. I noticed after a little bit my hands felt tense and sore so I went to see the doctor. He did an X-Ray scan and gave me a serious face saying, "We need to remove your hands". Days later my hands were surgically removed and I've been playing Graal with prosthetic hands ever since.
After the surgery the doctor had told me, "Should have played with an iDevice." |
I play by PC and I was being lazy once before and wanted to PK at MoD using my SNES controller (holding it is just more comfortable), and after about 5 minutes my thumb was sore as hell
not sure how I played the NES and SNES so much as a kid |
The only issue I have while playing Graal on my iOS device is when I've been playing for a while and then I wash my hands (for whatever reason). When I come back, the screen just doesn't feel right. It gets kind of slippery and I'm unable to use the controls with the same level of finesse I'm used to.
Never played Graal on PC. I'd imagine it would feel weird given that I'm so used to playing it on my iOS device. |

I still remember getting a really bad bruise from the gamecube controllers. Now before you say anything, if you were like me who played a lot of video games then you'll probably remember how the rubber part of the joystick would tear away. Once the rubber that once completely covered the mesh of the joystick has torn away, the joystick was presented with sharp edges so you were forced to play with this, unless you bought another controller. This newly shed joystick caused many unjoyable experiences yet fun gameplay. I didn't start to notice the pain until I had actually went off to bed(because gameplay was fun, duh).

I doubt most people here played the original Mario Party because you're all young, but the rowing minigame actually gave me bruises on my palm that made it hard for me to hold my pencil in class a few times http://cdn.omg-facts.com/2012/11/1/0...823f76ed2c.jpg |
Everyone mentions Mario party, but I got all my fat thumbs from playing 99 stock SSB. Damn joystick broke half way through my first play through of OOT, preventing me from running in a straight line. Zig-zaging through the rest of the game was not fun.
Mistook my left thumb swelling up for "building thumb muscle". Now all I have to worry about is carpal tunnel l0l. |

I never broke my stick, but yeah I'd heard there were many reports of broken joysticks (see above post). |

bruised my palms and loosened my joystick, it never broke it but after a while it would not sit centered and would lean slightly to a side |
Ah my first day on graal

Cast away minigame also had that rotating joystick thing. The minigame wasn't really focused around that particular movement of the joystick, only when you had to reel in the treasure you found
|
Huh, thats weird, whenever I play Graal the only pain that I have is a deep emotional pain.

I used to play it all the time at my cousin's house and always choosing either the Yoshi Island world or the Princess Peach Cake world. |
Nintendo learned their lesson. That's why the rotating control stick mechanic was removed from Mario Party 2 (arguably the best game in the series). Though, to be fair, I had tons of fun with Mario Party 3 (I loved the mode where you played as the enemy characters and the goal was to defeat your opponent. No mini-games, no stars. Just quick turn-by-turn gameplay. And each of the characters had different abilities. I also loved Game Guy (the shy guy gameshow host. That was always fun). 4 was a let down IMO. But I recall 5 being enjoyable. After that they all just seem to blend together in my memory. Each one had a new gimmick, but they were really all the same. They just milked the hell out of the series at this point.
|
Well, Mario Party 8 was innovative in its own right. That being said, I feel as though 2 and 8 are my favorite for game nights.
And CM CM, that pedaling boo one was a nightmare lol.. I don't think I ever won it tbh. |
