Who is Moon Goddess? I never used those forums because it never let me sign up years back, so I just gave up.

Moon goddess is a nice woman who have been with graal for a long time and doesnt like when people are mean to each other.
She's probably the nicest person on the official forums and an old "friend" of mine.
Alot of people "hating" her, but hey it's a kids game.. Hate is everywhere

pc graal is not a kids game :D and the avg age for pc forum posters is 25+.


all they need is to removed the "previous" gold restriction and add the ios sections.

I'm sure she is a very nice person, that doesn't mean she should be moderating the forums.

She is actually a very good moderator. Kids just crying everytime because they are not allowed to cuss or harass others.

It's really much more than that. I mean, I could really careless but there is way to much censorship on the official forums, you are not allowed to voice your opinion in any way shape or form.

Much like the days of Stalin and Hitler.

Like I said, its 95% people who are crying about their bans, insult each other or harass players non stop. Opinion your voice was never an issue, just the way how the people do it is it ;)

Wasnt she one of the main reasons our honorable Dustyporvida quit the official forum. Your posts hold no real value as anyone that knows you knows those are bias opinions. Only stefan brown-nosers think she's a good mod.

Moon Goddess basically censors opinion, deletes posts, and does everything in her power to hide things that she (or the people who gave her the position she's in) doesn't want other people seeing, so let's not pass it off as her saving the children from harassment

I almost got banned because I posted a link to an article about Madrox's death...the rules are stupid and enforcing them religiously (Darlene does this) is a problem. Why else do you think that forum died?

This is so incredibly inaccurate it makes my eyes bleed. She is one of the main reasons the official forums died.

Ah, you guys are pretty angry about her, huh? She really never bothered me, but then again I never really put much effort into the "official" Graal forums. I think its biggest hindrance was the paywall they put up, which prevented a healthy community from growing.

You can point out times where conversations got squished because of overzealous moderation, but I think 9 out of 10 of those instances were being people rude or indecent to the topic at hand. I can't hate on Darlene, but I respect why some of you might!

I think that, once they get upgraded, there may be some potential for those forums being every bit as useful to Graalians everywhere as this forum is now.

I remember one time someone posted about doing a challenge of some sorts and drinking a ton of water, so I linked to a website about water toxicity and the dangers and the post was deleted and I was warned.

The biggest problem with the forums was not purely Darlene, but the fact that it was ONLY Darlene. The forums used to have multiple admins/head moderators, and it was sort of balanced as they all had different ideas on how to interpret the rules and run the forums. However, eventually all the other moderators started disappearing... all that was left was Darlene. Suddenly there was no one else to go to when you felt Darlene messed up. Everything was up to her discretion and she knew it. Her excuse was always, "if you don't like it, you can contact Unixmad." And I did, and I'm sure many others did... and guess what, Unixmad was NEVER THERE. So eventually it got to the point where she enforced rules however she wanted and there was no way to appeal. The only way to appeal was to PM her... and well, she would never back down and say she was wrong. So if felt that you got an unfair strike/deleted post, well tough ****.

The breaking point for me was when someone posted that video of the two girls a while ago on Youtube who talked about the dangers of child predators on Graal or something(it was a while ago and I can't find the video). It created a very healthy discussion on the topic on these forums, and Stefan himself saw the video and came on RC and talked about how important it was to crack down on that sort of thing. Ya, Stefan thought the video brought up a lot of good points. However when it was posted on the Official forums Darlene deleted the threads and said the topic was not to be discussed again, as it was inappropriate.

This is not true, the official forums used to be incredibly active even with a pay wall. The forum infact had healthy growth then Darlene became moderator and activity declined majorly (you can also blame lack of updates to graal PC as well).

This is just false. Absurdly false

As long as they don't allow people to converse that forum is going no where. Their moderation team (Darlene) needs to retire and move on. The fact she still moderates the forum like she does is ridiculous and sometimes people need to know when it's their time to go.

there's no reason to use the official forums

not to mention, the Graal website's security and the coding behind that forum is garbage
whoever coded the whole intra-account linking system where your Graal account/password is supposed to sync with your forum account password did a terrible job, I can't even log in anymore and there is no forgotten password feature

only reason I wanted to log in was to tell them their forum sucked anyway

Along with many others, I agree against Darlene. I'd been banned from the forums there for in-game-actions that had nothing to do with the forum. And no, I'm not talking "stalking" or "sexual harassment." Just banned for stupid reasoning.

I sat through my 6 years of being banned for a trivial reason and I'm unbanned now (thanks Xor), so I'm looking for someone to lift that.
