food items Since the AP system came out food items have been pretty much useless. Not to mention the fact that they're illegal in towers which I don't get why. What's the point of selling these items if were not allowed to use them for the only good they have, at towers? Does anyone actually use these for anything now?just curious to see if anyone has found a use for them. |

Buy the rum. Get drunk. End of story. |
|
It allows you to do stuff that you won't be able to do until you're 21, like get drunk. Note how I said you're. |
|
It was fun before they added the cooldown period and you could chain-eat burgers and stay alive while tons of people attacked you at once. Being that I'm not much of a PKer, I didn't even realize food wasn't allowed in towers. I don't have any comment on that, BUT I think it would be reasonable if food didn't apply to the <40 AP no-healing rule. Then at least food has some purpose outside of rp. |

 There's food :0? |

Before iClassic on the Graal Classic/the Adventure server I had reimplemented that in a custom movement system (simplified the logic a ton and got rid of glitches). Then I made it so that if you drank one beer, it would heal you all at once and set a timer. If you drank more beer it would heal you more slowly each time (and increase the timer). If you binged too much, it would eventually start hurting your health and eventually kill you instead. Some other scripter added an effect where it would change your chat text to be drunk-like, and I'm not sure, but I think someone else also added some visual drunk-like effects. |

You still do get all swervy if you have a few in rapid succession... |

But I would love it if they added a "slurred speech" effect to your chat bubbles. Also, I love the idea of that "drunk movement" thing you mentioned in the other thread, where it continually randomizes your movement keys. It would also be cool if it warped you to an inn bed after you "pass out" (die) from drinking too much. |
|
It already should randomize movement keys to an extent unless they removed the movement part of the script (although I believe that was built into the movement system directly rather than a part of the script). |
