IDF plz. Also I'm not going to be surprised if murica gets involved, because apparently, there are tunnels that the Hamas are using too get into israel to perform acts of terrorism there. If anyone has the most experience with combat in tunnels, its murica. The Japanese in WWII, korean war, vietnam war, war on terrorism, boarder drug wars (yes drug cartels dig tunnels into america to smuggle drugs in). so I'm not going to be surprised if US combat troops go in.

The Middle East is just going to cause problems constantly, it is far too volatile to be peaceful. Very much like Europe in feudal times in a lot of respects except they have more deadly weapons.

Malaysian Airlines are having a very bad year. Russia almost certainly supplied the rebels with the weaponry used to shoot down the plane and now they are trying to distance themselves.

The people of Gaza have been subject to a crippling trade embargo, limited area to fish for food and that essentially makes it a prison. Now I'm not saying Israel should just take the rocket fire (no one would) but they shouldn't go and kill innocent civilians by bombing one of the MOST DENSELY POPULATED REGIONS ON EARTH. It's madness. If only you knew how it is to live in Palestine. Opportunities are limited and freedom of movement doesn't exist. I've been to Palestine multiple times and was even held back from entering Jerusalem despite having an American passport. They held me back because I was a Palestinian.

As far as the current events going on, I would guess that both sides have done f up things to one another. Ive never been to that part of the world and I dont know what really goes on. Why no Western country is looking at war crimes there? Well it's partly because with that plane many Western people died and that directly affects the Western countries. With the Israel issue it is more indirect and most countries have now accepted that the Middle East should sort itself out because otherwise long protracted wars occur.

Also Russia, China, India Brazil and South Africa represent most of the world especially in terms of population. You do realise I am from the UK right? The Ukrainian democracy failed when the leadership decided to ignore what the people wanted which was closer ties with the EU. The proof is the fact that the Pro EU faction took power and brought stability to the country. Then Russia annexed the Crimea while saying they had no troops there. Sounds fishy. Russia is still supplying the rebels with weaponry to destabilise the country to force them to cosy up to them instead of the EU.
