This x 100
It could get you in a twist if you just post random graphics up. Since Graal is now lawfully the owners of the graphics, you should drop them an email ([email protected]) to ask if you could have permission to use their images. Good idea though. A nice addition to the community.

Higbey 12-10-2011 12:15 AM

Also ask the players that made the graphics if you can use them.

Well that too, but if they have been uploaded to Graal and you upload the graphics to your site with the reason being that the creator gave you their permission, it's completely void since the owners are now Graal On-line.

I suggest reading here for more info TWIZ.

Yea I'm saying just that even if graal online says it okay you should make sure the creator of the graphic is okay with it being up.

Actually, as 0Pix0 pointed out, there seems to be no legal document anywhere which states that GraalOnline obtains ownership of material uploaded onto its game servers, so until this is set in stone, that's entirely debateable.

Seriously? So seen as this isn't documented OFFICIALLY, these are completely void?

Ugh... Seriously, how long is this gonna last!?
No matter how hard you try, your content will always get stolen. Period!
You uploaded it to GraalOnline Classic and now this is its property. Twiz decided to make a website based on GraalOnline and decided to be kind and post content players can use for the upload system.

This guy isn't asking for a donation so hes allowed (even though its Copyright infringement). Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you people!?

We went through this entire conversation about GFX again and again... Don't start it again people!

Ok well I'll be sure to +rep thieves from now on and -rep people who are actually helping Graal in the future.

.........
You do realize this website was created to help players in the future?
Smile Status codes, Head/Body Uploads (Which btw are recolored/edited versions of stolen heads/bodies so it doesn't make any difference), Font Codes, a Link to Shield Codes, Templates, background status codes, a Full FAQ guide for beginners, links to forums/official pages/other fan made websites and templates..

Seriously.. What the hell is wrong with you?
Do you only think of the uploads?
They're stolen.. Big deal.. It ran in the Graal Classic blood...
Now suck it up kindly will ya?

Higbey 12-10-2011 02:28 AM

It's not what's legal it's what's right. If it was legal for me to stab you repeatedly with serrated rusty box cutters, it still wouldn't be right.

Also, I'm fairly certain this rule is null and void, seeing as in the iPhone servers you can play without having to agree to or see the terms of agreement. Also, while the clause protects graal and allows it to use any work uploaded and to keep any work uploaded, it does not give graal online the rights to give the rights of use to any third party.

Layman's terms: graal can keep and use the stuff you upload, but they can't give the right to use or own the work to someone else, that right still belongs to you. But none of this matters because no one would sue over this (except me, because I actually paid to copyright Higbey and his concept design.)

Murder, rape, prejudice, destruction, and corruption runs in the human blood. Doesn't mean it's okay and not punishable.

On graal pc stealing was taken way more seriously.

The concept may sound the same but the situations are all different. Stabbing someone is worse than stealing pixels my friend.

Again, no one is forcing you to upload your head/body...
If you don't want your head/body to get stolen.. Don't upload it..
Its GraalOnline Classic's property and you can't do anything about it. You can try to fight it off but its not gonna work.

And really? You're gonna sue GraalOnline Classic? Cause if anyone did, this wouldn't be here... And i know theres alot of people who claim that they have the right to sue GraalOnline Classic.. Yet no one succeeded...

Just don't play or don't upload your graphics if you're gonna be a big crybaby about it! Again, No ones forcing you... Yet you idiots/so-called-geniuses take the staff for the god damn blame...

Higbey 12-10-2011 03:02 AM

I blame the staff that don't punish or help get rid of these sites for thiefs. Once again. Post here the link to were it states that graalonline gets all rights over any work uploaded to it. It doesn't. Even if they did add that, still would be void, iclassic players never agree or see the terms of agreement. Graalonline may be able to use or keep the uploaded work, but it's not their property to give unless they gave all those right over to someone, which would be basically transferring all ownership of graal to said person. Not very likely.

And saying "no one is forcing you to..." statements is pointless and empty. Of course we aren't being forced, we want to upload our work, that doesn't mean we should need to accept thieves. No one is forcing you to fly, but that doesn't make it any more alright and acceptable that airlines started hiking up prices.

Don't you have some graphics to be stealing? Get off if you only made a account on here to try to defend the theft. You still refuse to ask players for their permission BEFORE you post their graphics.

Higbey... We went over this a hundred times... I agree that stealing GFX and i still agree onto this day... But its not my business... Im not running it at the moment...

The staff allows players to use any head/body and while others are complaining (mostly spam), others don't really care about the complaints. If Graal Classic stopped allowing players to do this, then the Graal Market would crash (Yes.. Thats where most of the money comes from..) because 90% edited/recolored heads using other heads... Same for bodies..

This is how Graal Classic Staff knows whos good at GFX and whos not. Those who originally made GFX as staff has made heads/bodies/hats fully custom and placed on for sale so everyone can have it.

No matter how long you're gonna complain about it, the results will be the same. Sorry man... Most of us tried..

TWIZ 12-10-2011 11:38 PM

Sheesh...all I wanted was to help peeps, not start a whole argument on who's right and who's wrong

@higbey if u wanna go track down the creators of all those graphics so I can ask for permission that is totally fine with me
