After Winter, what happens?
 

After Winter, the snow will be melted, the sleds gone away, and the loved snow that each of us enjoy. What do we do with the skates, could we use them all year round? Keep the snow resort open for buyers of the skates? Sleds? What do we do with them after Winter passes? Break them? I just don't want these Christmas items to be used just for Christmas, having them last all year round would make these items worth purchasing. We won't be able to use the skates after Winter, and so they become useless, unless we can figure out a way to use them during any time of the year.

The snow resort on Pc is open year round so I think it may be year round on iEra too. :d

The skates are too expensive...if it was like 1k I'd buy but I'm saving for bar

I don't think we will keep it open, it won't be as fun for next year if we do :(

I'm gonna go work more on Era as a game, not events / minor updates. (i.e. bring gangsters vs cops)

So are skates will be useless for the rest of the year? 6k is too much if it's just for December, make the skates useful for a job or something? That goes with any other Christmas item. The mittens could used for fishing? Lol. I don't know, but please make these items not just a one-time use. :(

Solution

Make a area in the map that has snow, ice, also a base like classic.

Or, just give all people that bought em, say 80% of the money they spent

That's probably the best solution.

I agree, have a permenate area to those who bought the Christmas themed items all year round, 6k was all my money, and I don't want it to go to waste after Winter. :(

I'm assuming sleds will be released, and Australlia can have a turn off option. Lol.
Anyways, I just want these to be used all year-round.

I vote we leave the snow room in the snow resort open at least. I set the price of the ice skates as $6000 because i was under the impression players would be able to use then year round atleast in the snow resort. Possibly close the snowboarding after christmas if you really want to close something snk, but its a bit unfair to charge 6k for only a months worth of skating.

Or instead of closing the snow resort after Christmas, close it when Winter season is over? That'll be at least 3 months.

I agree, 6k was all my money >.< It took my about 1 hour for each 1,000 gralats. Yes, 6 hours for a pair of skates. >__<

The idea of the snow resort on pc era is that it is a place that has "manufactured snow" year round. I don't see a problem in keeping it open as it wasn't a "christmas" release, more a "winter release". Tricxta and i have something special planned for christmas.

What if the snow machine freeze's the ground after a few weeks and we can skate on the ice (etc)

I think they shouldn't be able to use, outside, make a bigger house there you can go in and drive around with your skates (all year). And make the price higher..

I think 3 k would be more than enough for a useless gani that can only be used in winter or in that building.
