The Imprisonment (Quest)

The Imprisonment

A player made quest

Happy New Year, Graalians! I hope you're enjoying your holiday break, and got all the things you've asked for last Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza and the many other numerous gift giving holidays that took place this season. To celebrate the New Year, my friends and I decided to kick start 2014 with something fun and enjoyable for everyone. We decided to make a quest. An interactive quest using 3 houses and a variety of challenging puzzles using keyblocks and statues.

In this story: You are on a search for a missing cousin who has been kidnapped by The Trickmaster, a cunning criminal mastermind and murderer. Your search begins on the far away island Albaladon. Home to the Baddies, and one of the most dangerous prisons on all of Graal. Rumor has it, this is where The Trickmaster has imprisoned your cousin. Your quest is to find and put an end to the Trickmaster, and to save your cousin from being killed. But be warned: The Trickmaster is very clever and will do anything he can to keep you from moving on!

Quest created by: Sketch, Journeys, and myself. All of us can be found in the guild (The Quest), and all of our houses are open. The first part begins in my house. All keyblock passwords are in CAPS and contain no spaces, but may contain numbers.

Special thanks to those two, for really putting in a lot of effort in making this possible. It's always a pleasure for me to work with creative, innovative people with great ideas. We hope we can bring more stuff like this in the future with new challenges and other cool things out there.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this! If you like it, or have any comments or concerns feel free to message one of us in game. Happy New Years!

is there a spelling mistake in the code paper in the top left of your house, blueh? it says "OWDOADED" and this doesn't seem to open any of the doors?

Anyway, I'm stuck and have spent about 20 minutes searching your house for something that indicates either the rest of --87 , ET, or OWDOADED ... so far none of these open any of the three locks... nice layout though!

Some of these you have to figure out on your own. Not all the answers are given out directly.

Livid 01-04-2014 02:59 PM

Omg im trying it

randomuser3954 01-04-2014 03:11 PM

I'm stuck on the first bit, I tried 'COLD' to get into the trickmasters but I couldn't think of anything else. It's what can you catch but not throw.

this quest is so hard

ufoburan 01-04-2014 05:28 PM

I had something similar to this that starts in my player house and ends in my gh. But definately not as long and intricate as this. Good job by you guys tho. I want to do more puzzles in my gh but im slowed down by the fact the passcode blocks are 5k each. Which is over priced u
Imho

Overpriced? Heads Cost 20k Gralats To Upload And You're Saying That A 5k Gralats Passcode Block Is Overpriced?
Now Think About A Double Player Mount Who Cost 50k, It's Just Like Buying 10 Of Those Passcode Blocks!

From That Point Of View, 20k For A Stupid Head Is Overpriced, 50k For A Stupid Mount Is Overpriced, 2-8k For A Stupid Hat Is Overpriced And Any Price For A Stupid Furniture That Is Higher Than 1k Is Overpriced.
Actually.... I Agree With That.

Eh, that's an opinion though. For some such as Blueh, Journeys and Sketch, 5k might seem like a worthy investment considering the possibilities they have now, such as being able to make this quest, and for others it's not. (Not singling you out btw just wanted to make a point)

5k Spent Is A Lost 5k.
Spending For Things Such As Furnitures Is Also A Lost.
It's Not Like If They Had Something Reaaaaally Awesome.

It is relatively awesome compared to other furniture you can buy though, for starters, it's interactive!

I don't get why the European music...

CM 01-05-2014 04:35 AM

It doesn't really even matter for Blueh, he can buy 15 of those 5k blocks and still have 300k in his account (not to mention he still bought a bunch of statues, and two statues are equivalent to 5k gralats.)

EDIT: Forgot to add: Very nice job on the quest. I'm still trying to complete it, but I am enjoying the quest very much.

Hadzz 01-05-2014 09:24 AM

Im on journeys bit now i get that the guy behind the goat is refering to the books and poots is stoop but theres so many possibilities

Nanner 01-05-2014 09:41 AM

Yay just finished it ^.^

O my gosh, why is my signature so big. Lol

Zoologist 01-05-2014 02:48 PM

I quite fancied it! without a doubt worth the time and butthurt you'll need to finish it xD
thanks a bunch to you three for spending so much time on it!

Darklink 01-05-2014 11:18 PM

I've always thought someone should make something like this, I'll go check it out!

Have you tried managing your gralats between buying furniture for a player house and a guild house and still having money to buy cosmetic pieces for your avatar? specially when your going through the holiday season and they are dropping something new to buy every other week? + 7.5 to keep your vip going? Then if you want to upload some customs none of which are cheap. That's a lot of g's.

You put all that together and the fact that gralats are slow to accumulate. Even with daily farming, diving for loot, and bug catching, pyrate bay it takes good chunks of time to make bank.

So yes I think they are Over priced. I certainly can't afford to buy many passcode blocks at 5k a pop,and buy the time I saved up extra gralats for it some limited time thing would pop up and I will end up spending my gralats on other stuff.

ps imho having more than one 2p mount is very unnecessary. The exception would be the ones that pop up at limited time events that you will never have the chance to buy again. And if you remember back to Graaloween and the spider they are not very cheap.

Stuck on the piano help!

Blueh 01-06-2014 11:42 PM

This quest will probably be closed down sometime later tonight, so play it while you can if you haven't! Thanks for the positive feedback we've been getting frm you guys, we really do appreciate it. We'll try to do something like this at least once a month, just for fun ^_^.

Blueh 01-07-2014 04:24 AM

And it's now closed. Hope you've enjoyed! Keep a look out for more, next month!

Rearrange the letters to the name of the the prison in Blueh's house and put it inside the lock to Sketch's house. it's too late anyway, though. :P

Kurohime 01-11-2014 06:20 PM

Couldn't finish the quest due to being blocked by sketch, kinda annoying.

MrSimons 01-11-2014 06:57 PM

I think the difficulty was perfect, just how a quest should actually be.

ufoburan 01-13-2014 05:50 AM

I haven't had the opportunity to do this yet but it sounds awesome. Maybe in the future you could start a thread asking for volunteers to make their houses the same way to make this even larger. Might even be able to make it into a guild.
