Tower Question
 

So I was bored last night and decided to attack Sardon's tower alone against around 7-8 Voxel members. I noticed at first some of the members were rather newbish which allowed me to get to the flag alone despite me being up against 7-8 guild members. Then I realized that the guild members were spawning where I was killing them. Is this for real? Is this how towers are on iClassic? Is it basically Quantity over quality?

If you were killing them on-top of sardons tower then yes they will spawn there, on other towers e.g. swamp and deadwood the guild holding the tower will spawn inside the tower not by the flag.
But here is a list of the towers and their spawn point for the tower holders just incase:
-York, inside the tent
-Castle, in the flag room
-Deadwood, second floor under the flag level door
-Sardons, on the flag level
-Swamp, In the water in the first room as you enter the tower

-mod, back of the room in the top corners on first floor

That's kinda overpowered

Every tower used to have it so you would spawn at the front of the flag room.

so basically you're saying you went to Sardon's, managed to get to the flag, realized you had no chance of taking it solo, then made a thread about it

towers are quantity over quality when it's 7-8 vs. 1 but I don't think you needed any Graal expert to tell you that
not entirely sure what you were expecting, try a fort like MoD or York if you want to try and solo it but that's still completely pointless because you either won't take it and if by some chance you do then you won't hold it

Not what I was saying at all actually. I was just there having a bit of fun and I wasn't actually trying to take the tower alone that would be quite impossible. I was just commenting on the fact that they were spawning at the top and even if i wasn't alone it would have been hard because everyone else spawned down below. That's all. No need to get all butthurt.

a. Towering is stupid and does not make you cool. So stop trying to beat up a guy is who unfamiliar with the tower system and just asked a question.

b. Just because you are in a tower doesnt mean you intend to take it. Towers are the most common PK spots. So stop making a guy look stupid when he was obviously only there for PKs.

Yo if this is the real Deophite, he's a pretty old Graalian. Pretty sure he's a sparrer as well. And yeah like Twil said, towering is stupid.

I don't think the OP was complaining he was just asking a question. I have bitched probably more than anybody about how crappy Sards is set up. So all I'm going to say is that when it comes to quantity or quality neither really matter because generally the guild holding Sardon's is a recycle guild that just Door lag/chat blocks with 1-3 ppl while everybody else afks at the flag 24-7 until 1k then starts over. I say remove the hallway,and put two doors in spike room to flag room.

A. sounds like your own opinion, others find towering fun and hes familiar with it he just never noticed something and what do you mean just ask a question? Aren't we supposed to answer?

This is clearly an insult hidden in a question, the fact that Deophite actually included our guild name (Voxel), the word "Newbish" together is an enough proof it is. I am just wondering how, how narrow-minded are these guys who kept on saying "He's new", "He's just asking a question", "You are abusing him". I mean really? :sarcastic:

Sure mate, and I was awestruck seeing how many immature people (including you) post here stuffs that doesn't really matter. Like for example, do you really have to say that towering is stupid? Then why do you really play Graal? To date pixels? To hang out with your friends and live with them happily ever after? I mean that is really irrelevant to the topic being discussed here. Sir, I don't see your sense anymore, I don't know why do you keep on bashing on the numbers my posts. Numbers of your posts and the time of your existence here doesn't prove your intelligence, mate.

Yeah, mostly. 5-6 good defenders can hold off 7-8 less experienced attackers. At most towers. The towers aren't very consistent in terms of easy attacking or defending. I think Sardon's, Snowtown and MoD are the only ones that still respawn defenders next to the flag, but other tower spawns aren't too crazy anyway. This essentially makes the largest guilds the most successful. That isn't to say a few skilled players can't be effective, however. There are other factors and exceptions, but for the most part, a larger guild will have a much easier time defending than a smaller one attacking.

Aaron and Exert, calm down a bit. It is a website and a game and someone you don't even know who forgets what you said 15 minutes after closing the tab. Snide, minuscule remarks make you a bother to the community.

I wrote up a review for every tower on iclassic once and posted it on here. I'm too lazy to look for it, but the conclusion was that mod was the tower worth playing if you're not in a huge towering guild. Though Castle and York Town weren't awful either.

Of course your gonna make enemys if u stay cooped in a tower all day quit whining and being a p**** about it people are obviously gonna be mad if u fight as a number not a skill and are clearly hat chasers

At the time there were a few members who were clearly added for the sake of having numbers. When I can run around someone and kill them without getting hit once especially in a place like that what would you have me call them? And if you recall, I said only SOME of the members. I didn't call the guild itself newbish. Anyways, I got my answer I dunno why people are still posting in this and arguing about stupid ****.

Anyways you can't really suggest voxel as newbish in any way, shape or form... I mean noob guild don't her 24+ hours every day , they don't stay on top of the leaderboard every day and week. Yes allot f people would hate on us because we take their towers but that's just what towering is like ... People can try blaming us by suggesting we are laggers because we took their tower and they get mad , but there's no point in blaming lag for their lack of skill and tower experience.

Your tower strenth just like any tower guild that has the ideal amount of hours you have. Only almost every tower guild has held towers 24/7 at times when they are fueled by hat chasers. Not noobs, but you aint nothin special either. Prove me wrong and get 1500 tower hours
