Log-In System For iEra.
 

Aside from account transfers, and having to wait a week or so, wouldn't it be much more easier to just have a log-in system? When I'm gone on long trips I'd would just like to log onto my iPod* and then when I come back home from the trip, I'd log back on from my iPad*. You would use the current e-mail in your profile as your username, and for the password you can make up, or ask the staff or computer to e-mail you a random password. If stolen account, you could attach a cell phone number, adress or some sort of identifcation.

I'm sure that the eventual plan is to release Era Facebook and implement a VIP system identical to the one used on Classic iPhone and Classic Facebook.

Hopefully it'll be one big system where if you have a VIP account on Classic you'll also have a VIP account on Era and vice versa, however I seriously doubt that this will happen.

I'm not talking about the VIP system, I'm talking about a log-in system to do away with the account transfers.

The problem is, many people lost stats and things from their inventory (meaning hats, bodies, as well as ganis). This is a big hassle for a log in system.

People used to think that because they actually didnt understand that system correctly. They still complain that it just got transfered and not transfered on both accounts. I doubt that there actually happened something.

I agree it may not happen but if this does this will save heaps of account transfers.

Well when era facebook comes out there will be some what of a long in system like there is with the classic vip

I want a log-in system to switch between iPod, iPhone, and iPad users. Like Pocket Legends for exmaple. Lol.

This is possible on Classic iPhone provided you have VIP, which isn't free.

The same system will likely be used on Era iPhone when Era Facebook comes out.

good idea, but I think the staff would waste more time having to help people who were scammed or hacked out of their accounts than giving account transfers, but the staff does need to step it up on their account trasnfers. Sometimes it takes them awhile and that can frustrate any player.

Not exactly I might be contradicting myself slightly, but it can actually be a great idea if they can manage to stop scamming somehow and can keep accounts secure from hacking, if they cant then it is not worth it.

Staff team wont be responsible of people giving out their passwords, is the police responsible if you gave your house keys to an stranger and stole all your things?

Log-in systems are used everywhere, email, forums, online services, etc.
I dont see how this can be a problem if it is introduced correctly. Hackers stealing accounts wont be a normal problem, I dont think people on here is dumb enough to make this a problem.

You would be suprised, over half of graals players are less than 13 years old, not saying they are dumb just saying they are more likely to being scammed. Also graal is not like other games, it doesn't have major playercounts,but it maintains the players it had for awhile. So yes the staff would care about people losing accounts more than a staff member in WoW or Runescape and alot of time could be wasted having to fix accounts instead of having transfers.

If the Staff team right now isnt responsible of scammed items, it wont make any difference from scammed accounts.

You cannot compare Graal to Club penguin based on the sense that Club penguin has 100x the playercount. Graal would cherish their players 10x more than Club penguin.

If people with less than 10 years which play with fat penguins on a online game are using a log-in system and it isnt failing why cant iEra have one considering most of players are 12+ years old?
And why are you talking about the ammount of players? How is it related to the log-in system?
Staff team on here is more close and is more friendly with players, but again, how this make them responsible of players actions? If players gave out their password isnt something Staff team needs to take care about.

Im saying the playercount affects the game in a way i guess you cant see. If people are scammed the staff will waste more time helping them then just giving them an account transfer.

Again, Staff team isnt responsible if someone gets scammed, even right now, if a player gets scammed its the player fault and the staff team wont do anything about it, so basically it wont make a difference.

Accounts are different, in losing an item they still play the game, in an account scam they will quit.

You can always create another account.
And its going to be pretty hard to loose an account anyways, it is going to be less common than normal scamming.

Nope and you forgot all the time it will take to secure accounts. Also hacking is alot easier if you have accounts. There are applications to find passwords and pins, yet there is no app to get you someones udid unless they tell you.

I dont think is hard to have a decent security on a log-in system, as I said before, a lot of online services uses them and they have no problems with it, even this forum does haves one.

I would actually love to see the application to get people passwords on Graal PC O:

Go on internet and if you spend enough time you can get almost anyones account from any login includeing facebook,WoW,Maplestory,email,etc unless they have extra security.

uh... They dont work.
If there was a magic application that gave out passwords everyone will know about them, and everyone will be inside other people facebooks and etc.

To be honest, most of the players have been asking for this kind of system ever since Classic iPhone launched. It saves peoples UDID's being discovered, and that's harder to recover from than if somebody found your password. In theory it won't be that hard to code either. All that needs to happen is players accounts and passwords to be stored somewhere on the server and they can log in through them. I don't know why it hasn't been thought about and added yet.

The whole reason is the time, it will take them longer than trasnfers.
 

Ridiculous. The advantages are obvious. You can log in from any device and play from anywhere. However, isn't the fact about our devices being portable enough? The only thing i see that could be changed with the exclusion of of a log in system is an expanded slot system. And, a way to save friends information on the server and link that with multiple devices. What if you have multiple devices and had only one around? Anyway, the log in system is unrealistic for portable devices. Just bring your idevice with you when you want to play. Also, I'd like to see a character slot expansion on the current one, so that we can have multiple stats and characters per one account. I honestly don't want my stats fooled with when someone else is playing. That's all I have to say.

Actually not really I gues. There are 1 or 2 other threads about that, but just passive since the suggestions were actually something else. That just came up randomly in those threads.
