Turkey Day

After reading through the forums it seems as if you guys are completely over looking something. Your talking about Black Friday,The Fall GST,and even Christmas a little bit. Why no luv for the Turkey? Nobody care about Thanksgiving???

As somebody who started playing Classic right after Thanksgiving last year I wasn't sure how it went is there anything special that goes on for it like there is for Halloween,Easter,or Christmas? Do we get a quest or just a shop with Holiday themed items?

Anybody got any Turkey day Ideas cooked up? (Pun intended)

There's ussualy just some hats at the general store or nexus ... But I think graal is not celebrating country specific events any more

Vladdy 11-05-2013 12:20 PM

You get Onnet general shop hats, Happy Thanksgiving.

Zoologist 11-05-2013 02:52 PM

I just want the turkey's from the chicken coop in onnet

rufus said we aren't going to do country specific holidays, anyway it wouldnt really be fair if graal did do american thanksgiving since it overlooked Canadian thanksgiving

twilit 11-06-2013 12:46 AM

Besides, no one cares. 90% of Holiday specific hats are lame.

ufoburan 11-06-2013 10:11 AM

I know when Independence day came around Rufus said no more Country specific holidays. I just didn't think of Thanksgiving being just a holiday in Amurica.

Ivy 11-06-2013 12:00 PM

Cuz he's British?

Rufus 11-06-2013 12:05 PM

We do 'Harvest Festival' in Britain around the same time. I'm not opposed to that because it is a generic concept, but it is a boring holiday where the focal point is celebrating food.

Objection! Everyone loves food.

Although, he is right that a generic concept can be celebrated because it is a common time of year for holiday celebration for multiple countries.

Just host the Fall GST please

iChronic 11-06-2013 10:22 PM

I'm surprised they didn't celebrate 'Bonfire Night' this year...

edit:

I meant Guy Fawkes Night. And ya, I know it's not celebrated in the US but fireworks are s0 c00L. It's also not a country specific celebration... many commonwealth countries celebrate it every year :o

Well I hope we wont have to wait long after Thanksgiving to be able to buy Christmas decorations. I hope they bring back some of the items I've seen in some of my friends houses/gh.

You guys think they will do the gift exchange again? I would like to see the vendors spread out this year and not clustered by Onnet like last year.

Do you just live off change..
why tf would you want a few vendors moved to make things less convenient.
How does it impact/enhance your game experience if the vendors are in one place as opposed to moved?

Britneyxox 11-09-2013 07:28 AM

Rufus said they only celebrate halloween Christmas and easter they are the main hoildays that most countries celebrate

Adzrul 11-09-2013 12:01 PM
