What do you guys think about dropping items?
 

So everyone knows about the horrors of only drop one item, this was made because our admins are lazy as **** and instead of patching duplicating items they make it so everyone can drop only 1 item. Snk wants to remove dropping from the game entirely. What do you guys think? I think that dropping any # of stuff brought back and they patch duping, also to remove the cap limit on all things.

Literally can't drop any items anymore... I don't want to pay 100 gralats to give things away. I would like the old drop system brought back also.

This is why snk was banned from all of europe. I think the old drop system should be added back too. The current system is annoying af and having to pay everytime i wanna be generous and give rares away or food/healing items to others would be gay af.

After waiting a while he recieved no replys at all. He got mad so he tried to implement his ideas in society on his own.... Total whackjob lol. Fortunately he was caught after impersonating a government official and when they found out who he was (the crazy guy who sent letters to governments) they sent him to Russia. Snks pic matches that guys pic so that's how I found out

Snk removed the dropping systems for a really good reason, he's simply tired of all the spam that is sent to him about "my items were scammed HELP!" or "Some guy didn't trade fairly after i dropped first" so technically he's trying to make everyones wishes come true and just stopping the scamming problems all in one

But people could scam in trade tables.
Why not just bring the drop back?

Because in trading tables people who don't have common sense just get scammed, its pretty obvious and I don't think it would even be necessary for a tutorial video on scam styles. they just have to avoid people who scam. And its easier if they ask friends or focus on the players saying no around them

thats the ****tiest excuse to remove the drop system i have ever heard. Scamming is legal, everyone knows it, theres a warning when dropping items, also spamming admins/feedback (it even says in the rules) is illegal. But era though is too soft with players and just give warning after warning. So if thats ruled as spam then why are they not jailing people?

Another thing that would help is a FAQ that way people know the response they will get if they ask that question. Theres a lot more options than a lot of people realize to reduce the HALP I GOT SCAMMED REFUND PL0X crap. Removing the system is a good absolute last resort option. If all else fails, abort the system. The system was not broken at all, it did not need to be removed.

Your right at that but its there decision not ours whats done is done, I dont like it either but its probably for the best.. for now that is until then just try to cope with it, i hate the money wasting though, they sure could have found a new way but this was the outcome

Just to clear things up for those who don't know, duping is fixed so that is not an issue anymore.
But yeah no dropping is stupid and helps no one except admins.

Anyways on point im not surpirsed it was removed. Why? Well eras staff is a bunch of egotistical idiots who take one step forward and then take two steps back (waiting on couple of staff to stick up for themselves)

Thats the problem right there. This happened before when snk wanted cliffs in southridge so he put them in with no community input. Eras staff never ****ing listens to communitys on gameplay changes. We the players have 0 word in these types of decisions and that needs to change

And no, the only people who benifit from this are staff.

Some of the stuff that has been added in has really baffled me. I guess it takes over a year before something is implemented (trade tables) but because snk didnt get his way on not adding trade tables he took away dropping

Dropping one thing means that it would be much harder to transfer items through friendly trade via drop. For example a gang member may need ammo, however he can't do this because he can only have one bullet. Lol he must need to have like a peacemaker or something if he wants to keep up with that heat.(peacemaker max damage:11 normal ratio damage:10) that or speed boost for a Taurus.

Eradicating the dropping of items has one downfall: you can't lend/donate items to people without the $100 table fee. :(

There'll always be a downfall to a chosen implementation of an idea. My bet is... If tables had no trade fee, you'd always have noobs occupying these tables and then you'd be asking for a queue system to eradicate that problem, then you'd be mad at that since you'd STILL be waiting too long so you'd demand a priority queue, where priority is based off number of trades successfully completed or some jazz like that. This will bring up another load of issues, and so on...

SNK hasn't been living under a rock, and I think his decisions are justified, it all just depends on what perspective you look at the problem. So.... There's always an implementation you'll oppose, best thing to do is just suck it up and not get so worked up about it.

no then this would follow the chance troll in monopoly where you move up 2 places, and get the chest card go back three spaces, then you land on the chance and get that annoying ass pay for hotel repair cards that bankrupts everyone. This is what era does, they go up 2 but then go back 3 spaces in progress and then they have to pay the price (and its always harsh, this is a perfect example). This would cause mass cahos among traders as they can no longer sell those items for mass amounts of shells.

false, there is a trade building in southridge, also thats a simple fix, add in more tables to the southridge building; or make trade tables purchaseable as furniture.

They should just add a trade option under the more options button on someone's profile. They could keep the trade tables also but it would make quick little trades and donations 10x easier.

Well I'm just saying, if you want to do a quick trade with a friend then do my idea of trading. If you're looking for offers on items and such then just go to the tables. I'm not trying to say my idea would become the big way to trade.

It would and fast. It would avoid the fee for tables, no time limit, no asshats who "hijack" your table and advertise there stuff on it, and make trading way faster.

However if a gifting option was avalable where you can gift x amount of items to someone and its not a trade system, that could work.

Vividly remember how I hated trade tables. Played Era for one week.
Tables made me sad.

Era trade tables: hey come to this table k? K. *goes to table, one person enters table, noob runs up* HEY I GOT SOME MINERALS AND TRASH FOR YOUR BRA MELEE
