Christmas Graphics and Ideas
 

Well Christmas is coming up and I've decided to do a bit of GFX again. I need some ideas as for items you would like to see. iFake did a Candy Cane Melee weapon, and all I have done so far is

I'll add some stuff as I go along.

I just can say that I´m no GFX pro, but I´d make the Ornament "bombs" (even though that are grenades) at least like this (quick edit in ~1 minute):

(Removed background and shaded it a bit better in my mind)

Also the polar bear needs some work. Same thing for the car.

I'll see if I can talk to somebody about the bombs especially. Perhaps snk might even like the idea. :)

the bear was a quickie. I've already changed it quite a bit. as for the car, any suggestions?

Maybe you shouldn´t make such a recolored one. Try to make a new car. Also the colors are too bright.

Though, could anyone make a better GFX'ed Santa hat than the one that's already provided for free when you begin your iEra adventures? More shading would be nice. Just a thought. Thanks, Ohh and nice bombs Kondie. :)

They're neon colors which tend to not go well in pixel art. x_x

Snk liked the car BUT I'll make it darker if it will turn out better. Like I said, Haven't done much gfx in a while lol.

Waaaay too dark, add a shine in the top right corner and shade from there

Edit: on second look i see you did, I guess you started out with a darker color so it got progressivly darker or something

Nice graphics. I love the ornaments. However, isn't the Christmas car a bit too generic? Isnt the only thing thats Christmas like is a candy cane? Maybe make it sled like. Or like a snowmobile.

i tried the sled idea. It looks funky with a birds eyes view xP

I would love to ice skate in Era. I already know Classic has them.

You could load it down with stuff then... Wreathes... Maybe flashing lights of green and red. Hmmm.

I made a sled and it doesn't look half bad :d I put it one the Christmas competition page but I think I'm gonna edit it a bit when I get home today.
