Add more things to do=more players=more money
I mean the only things you can do is the 2 quests pyrat and the one in mod town for ninja mask shop, PK, spar. And the community isn't nice it's crap and whenever you walk into graal city bottom of burger refuge all you see is "single", "recruiting for my guild" "anyone want to rp". Think what it would be like if you added fun things that take a while to complete and is fun not like giving people items like scarfs , mirrors in the mod town quest.
Tl:dr THINK WHAT THE PLAYERBASE WOULD BE LIKE IF ADMINS ADDED MORE AND FUN THINGS TO DO, IT WOULD MAKE EUROCENTER MORE MONEY BECAUSE MORE PEOPLE WOULD PLAY GRAAL. |
A novel idea.

New snow area? What happened I thought soon was a week or 2 weeks...

Classic's ran itself and only itself into a hole. I'll be damned if management finds a way to dig itself out.

Graal is like the most novice level MMO I can think of. People who want more from an MMO already play other games. Move on to a different game like many of us already have.. |

Um Rufus? Why defend classic so much? Just saying Aaron is so correct. All you guys give is more hats. I don't see new content.

Some one break out a player count graph (idk where to find it) for the idiots who still think iClassic is boring and few people play it.
To said idiots described above: if its so boring, go find a different server. |
Graal isn't meant to be a complex game. People who want that generally go to different MMOs, and a lot of people enjoy/play graal. And playerbase might not change that much, those people mentioned by you might not even notice the update.
|
Last Time I checked the player count has dropped signifigantly since the end of August do to school starting up. I don't think it has anything to do with lack of content.

edit; the part where u say "I'll be damned" really got me man. l0l man, wtf. I tried saying it out loud without a sounding like a feg but i sounded like Clint Eastwood in one of his cowboy films |
Add more incentive to idle.

Ruf doesn't do hat updates.

I'm surprised the player count has gone up actually. I think the game would benefit from more mini-games like archery. You can repeat them over and over again by yourself or with friends. If you include rewards that's even better. It's been awhile, but when I played PC Classic they had some fun games with enough people. I'm not a fan of finding a warp gate or just waiting for staff to do events. Quests last like what, less than a day? I've lost my hopes for awhile though. All I see in the news is new VIP item or new hats have been added to the shops.
|
It's because the server looks and runs nicer than it did when it was released.
|
Classic has been and always will be (imo) centered around the social aspect of Graal more than the gameplay aspect. Classic is more of that role playing server, and try and look good, with customs, hats, furniture, housing, mounts, etc, server.

Haytors. |
You're calling them dicks. Does that mean that you are insulted?

Eh, as long as the fundamental things in this game aren't removed, the player count will continue to grow.

If EUROCENTER wants more money Unixmad or Stefan should make the admins make more content for more money and to make the game better for the players.

The way I see it, hats are new content. It gives players a way to further customize their look. However, you can't expect huge things to be released as often because those kinds of things take a while to make. Small things are released regularly, big things on rare occasions.
|
Despite how vocal the hat dislike is, a lot of players like hats. In fact, players seem to expect hats with every update, and whine when there aren't hats. Same with furniture, if you release a new area you can expect 80% of feedback for the next week to be players whining about how all the new furniture in the new areas isn't for sale.
Not that this is justifiable, and I can understand the gripe about hats... but just realize hats aren't replacing other content. If you're getting hats, it's not taking up the time that would otherwise be used creating a dungeon or quest. It's just that graphic artists are much more easier to come by than other development staff. You can't create the new content players want with just graphics, yet graphic staff is pretty much all iClassic has as far as development goes. |
Delteria has like 60+ quests right? + everything else they have. thats content. When it comes out classic is gunna look like *** lol. So to all of u who r unhappy with classic just be patient.
|
Delteria also has MysticalDragon, who specialises in remaking dead servers. He took the same team he has always used (himself and DrasticVendetta) plus Emera who is good at creating hype.
You don't need a lot of developers to make content, but when all of the devs are inactive nothing can get done. Pointing at other servers with an active dev team and asking why Classic isn't like that is foolish. |

Classic is amazing!!! There's always fun things to do for me. :D Like farming!!!
|
To all of you that said "Classic is a simple game and doesn't need anything new"; it does. The reason Zone and Era are "better" is because they can do everything Classic does, plus weapon variety.
Don't defend it. If you really want "Delteria" just stop playing Classic. |

You remove "dead" areas because there may have not of been much traffic there and not much to do,but at least they were more places to walk around and explore. Which Imo is one of the best parts of starting out in a game. Yet your remove these areas and things before adding more. I don't understand that at all. For example I don't get why it would be necessary to remove the old rail road system before the new one is ready. It couldn't be left in place till the new one was at least close to being ready? My point is this: You remove part of what little there is so there is even less to do in the game. The only real content I have seen added is the occasional holiday quest. So in away it feels like we have been programmed to hat chase. Hat's are the only content or thing that is constantly added or changed within the game so of course people will always be demanding more. I know Dusty has said more than once why there is a lack of content and why things take so long to get done. I hope i am right in assuming they have looked outside the game for new or more dev's. If not then maybe they should throw and add up on craigslist. |
+REP. I hear ya, perfect thinking.

I have played games where you make your own rpg game (rpg maker) Idk if that is similar to what Dusty does or not but I thought it might be some what the same. You make levels, add npc's,write their dialog, set their movements, add objects, edit how your character interacts with things, set triggers(things that you would do to start quests/events/add items to inventory, ect.) When Dusty talks about fixing the game script I'm not sure if he is talking about stuff like that or actual coding I have know clue on how to do coding. If I knew exactly what writing script was and how do to it I would. |
