I recently started watching sword art online and it seemed pretty decent until i got to the bit with fairys i seriously hope that the rest of the series changes because fairys arent my favourite theme please tell me it stops at least tell me theres violence

Just to give you a heads up its still in season 1 but just its secomd arc. There is action in it so you know that but it is no where near as good as the first arc.(although the writers are doing a special at the end of the year to add the alfheim online story)

There are a few things I didn't like about the second arc. For one, way too much Suguha. I really could care less about Suguha. Second, this isn't really a big spoiler, but Kirito decides to keep his Alfheim look which made me say "What the hell." The ending was a little bit of a let down, but the Alfheim arc is still good. Just don't expect a lot of Asuna in this one. I really don't know if I want them to make Gun Gale Online. Kirito has a girl avatar or something which I don't understand why the writers would do that to him.

2nd arc is... I don't like it. Writing was just eh.

The second arc's story is kind of an excuse plot. The fights are nice, but the writing sucks.

I don't know man, I tried watching this show...but I don't understand it 0.O

I think they should have just focused on the Sword Art world more. I was disappointed when they skipped the final boss fight.

I wish they slowed the pace down, it felt way too fast. It was great for what it was, but it would have been top-notch had they slowed down and fleshed out the Sword Art arc more.

I would have been better if every girl character in the show didnt rely on kirito to defend them

Yeah, I agree. I think if they would have done some things different it would have been even more amazing.

There's no new season confirmed if you wondering and I don't think there will be because it would have launched by now ...also if your wondering what the second season would be then the answer is the gun gale online ark

Is it still worth watching if not know anyother animes in this sort of theme the first arc was great excpet that you seen every charchter once except asuna kirito klein and the shop guy they could have slowed it down a lot

Might as well finish it. I finish an anime even if it's okay. Don't you want to know what happens to them? I liked it, but again, really didn't care for Suguha. Also, the fact that dying didn't effect them in real life made it less interesting to watch. I just think they should have solely focused on the Sword Art arc and stopped it there.

Don't be so sure, season one of TMoHS finished in 2006 while season three began in 2009.

Yea but Sao was one of the hottest anyone's of the year I bought they would just make us lose the vibe

Well you dont know anything so ill tell you. Well the director behind sword art online was working on a show in july, he wants to make sao season 2 but cant due to the whole team doing different projects this year. Thats why to keep fans happy a special is coming at the end of the year.

Actually it's just a movie that will come out end of year , it's based in something that happened in the second ark ...also u think I do know something as there is no official confirmation for a new season and in my opinion there won't be ... So pls tell me how am I wrong ?

Its not a movie for god sake and the specail is reuseing some scenes from alfheim online arc. The special is just to advance the storyline thats it

Also considering how popular sao is and how much money it makes and with a leafa statue coming out you would be stupid not to make another season

How would it advance the storyline of they already made the last chapter of the second arc ._.

Because they are adding more information to the series as the shoody writing became very apperent in the second series

That's not advancing with it ... Advancing with it would be to make the 3rd arc (gun gale ) this would be more of a resume of the episodes from the novel they dident make/ missed out ..

What are they about?

Shingeki no Kyojin is AoT, there's a thread going on now but I'd stick to the first few pages to avoid spoilers. Code Geass is about a single man who starts a rebellion to overthrow an empire with the help of a supernatural ability called Geass. Both are great, if you liked SAO you will like these.

Just a question, after the world seed episode how is there any more arcs? Or did I just skip ahead wayyyyy too far? Dont particularly follow the sotry closely but the storyline still interests me.

Basicly the story behind GGO (gun gale online) is a detective contacts kirito about deaths in the game gun gale online and thinks that the people causeing this are the last remaining people from the guild laughing coffin. A new female lead is introduced called sinon who has mental issues with guns after killing a robber with a gun when she was younger so she plays the game and slowly but surely gets over her fear of guns

Not even joking, SAO fans are the most rabid fan base ever.
Worse to me then Star Wars Fans.
